Caleb Williams did not receive the protection of a single roughing the passer penalty call his first two seasons in the NFL. Thirty four games, not one call. The Bears were called for committing 11. Cry me a river.
Green Bay's been flagged for roughing eight times this year and Jordan Love still hasn't drawn one. The Brooks hit on the last drive was a textbook tackle.

In my 19 years covering the Packers on a daily basis, I've never written a blame-the-refs story. Yeah, I get it, the Packers beat themselves, too, but what happened at Ford Field was unaccepable, an embarrassment and, to quote Xavier McKinney, bullshit. ⬇️ si.com/nfl/packers/onsi/xavi…

Lots of angry Packers fans in the mentions, here's my stance on refs. There are bad calls every game. Some games are worse than others. GB definitely had a few bad calls against them. Only way you should blame officials is if a bad call doesn't leave time to still go win. Blaming refs is a way to avoid accountability. The Packers had the ball tied at 17 with 3 minutes to go. The refs didn't drop the TD, Josh Jacobs did. The refs didn't botch the FG, the Packers did. The bad RTP accounted for 15 of 71 yards, the defense that had been playing well came up small on the final drive. The refs were bad, but the Green Bay Packers lost that game in the final 4 minutes. Go cry in someone else's mentions. The reason y'all are so pissed is you know I'm right.
Looking forward to Packers fans blaming a bad RTP call for the loss instead of poor special teams and defense.

The first few years of Eddie Jackson patrolling the secondary for the Bears were pure magic, felt like the next Mike Brown with his magnetisms to the ball and ability to turn it to points. A Jackson classic is featured this week, along with 2 other games from the past!

With a 5-2 record, the #Bears are firmly in the playoff picture, and they could make a big push for a trade before the deadline. I look at 5 potential targets who could be on the market for @WCGridiron: windycitygridiron.com/chicag…
