One of our favorite things about the Declaration on Women’s Sex-Based Rights is that it’s a global document. 160 countries are represented in its nearly 40k signatures. The Declaration was founded to “build #international #sisterhood and to urge nations to maintain language protecting women and girls on the basis of sex rather than "gender" or "gender identity.””

CANADA: A trans-identified male has been sentenced to 5 years in prison after stabbing his 8-year-old daughter in the esophagus and assaulting his 7-year-old son.
Michael "Alice" Attwood blamed his gender identity and marijuana use for the attack.

CANADA: A serial sexual predator who began to identify as transgender behind bars is demanding to be moved to a women's prison.
Manfred Sperling, who now goes by Amanda Cooper, claims he is "unsafe" in a men's prison because he is "physically a woman."

In today's CBC report on an incarcerated sex offender who underwent "gender reassignment surgery" and is now demanding transfer to a women's prison, @Mason134211f makes the case for keeping all men out of women's prisons, regardless of any extreme cosmetic surgery they undergo:

The identity of the Tumbler Ridge shooter can now be confirmed as Jesse “Jess” Strang.
Strang is a biological male who started to “identify” as a "girl" around 2023.
Strang was raised in a family that valued hunting, and began learning how to shoot rifles when he was just a child. Many guns were kept in the family's residence.
Facebook posts from his mother indicate he may have struggled with behavioral issues, including violent tendencies, from a very young age.
Strang fatally shot 10 people prior to taking his own life.
