I have spent several weeks studying the lives of Elijah and Elisha in the scriptures, both for the sermons I am currently preaching on Sunday mornings, and for my second book, The God of Elijah and Elisha, the writing of which is just beginning in the expectation of its being published in late spring 2027.
Today as I walked to the church, the introduction of the book seemed like it was writing itself in my mind; and if I weren't writing it, it would be a book I'd be excited to read. Looking forward to this process, and asking friends and supporters to pray with me for God to be glorified and His people built up through it.

STATEMENT FROM JACK CAMPBELL
My family and I want to sincerely thank everyone for the overwhelming amount of love, prayers, and support we’ve received over the past few days. It means more to us than words can express.
I’m incredibly encouraged by the progress I’ve made in such a short period of time. I have full movement in my lower body, and I’m continuing to make progress with movement in my upper body. I know there’s still work ahead, but I remain very optimistic. I’m taking things one day at a time, staying positive, and focusing on getting better.
My faith in God has never been stronger. I know He has a plan for me, and I trust in that plan. I know there may be challenges ahead, but with my faith, my family, and so many people in my corner, I know we’ll get through this.
I especially want to thank the athletic trainers and medical personnel who responded and cared for me on the field. I know those were difficult moments, and I’m incredibly grateful for the professionalism, compassion, and care you showed me. The way you handled everything and looked after me when I needed it most is something I’ll never forget. From the bottom of my heart, thank you.
I also can’t say enough about the incredible care I’ve received from the medical team at Henry Ford Hospital and the Detroit Lions medical staff. They’ve been amazing to me and my family throughout this process, and I’m truly grateful for everything they’ve done.
To my teammates, coaches, and everyone in the Lions organization, I want you to know how much I love and appreciate you. This team is a family to me, and the way everyone has been there for me means everything. I’m proud to be a Detroit Lion and couldn’t ask to be surrounded by a better group of people.
One thing I’ve learned about Detroit is that this city is built on toughness, resilience, and grit. That’s exactly how I’m going to approach this challenge.
Please continue to keep me and my family in your prayers. We feel the love, and I can’t thank everyone enough.
God is good. My faith is strong.

Christ is on the throne in heaven. But not on earth. We were commanded to pray for His kingdom to come and His will to be done on earth as it is in heaven for a reason. It's because this world needs the return of Christ to reign, and will not be a good world until that day.

Baptism is a ritual of representation of the spiritual reality resulting from faith in Christ. Contrary to what this popular teacher says in his post here, if you are unsaved going in, you're just unsaved and wet coming out.

The muslims are explicitly telling you that whether they win or lose the elections in America, they intend to kill you if you don't submit to them. While the devil's Koran does instruct them to lie to non-muslims, you should believe that in statements like this, they are telling the truth.

So what you’re saying is win or lose, you’re a bunch of violent lunatics? Thanks for clarifying. We weren’t quite sure.

This reads like some manifesto you'd find in a van that just mowed down a parade. He's an MSNBC regular.

Please pray for the Christians in Nigeria.
They need more people speaking out on their behalf.

If I tried as hard as I could to come up with the worst nonsense about God and faith imaginable, I still couldn't accomplish that as well as this man millions of people think they are Christians for following. Someone I led to Christ Tuesday would already know God better than the pope by Thursday.
Faith can be embodied in all cultures, because it does not identify itself with any of them in a specific one. It dwells within them, shaping them from within according to the “form” of Jesus Christ; that is, through charity, service and the filial recognition of God’s fatherhood. In this way, the Church draws from the various cultures all that is good, beautiful and true, in order to embody and transmit the message of the Gospel. #GeneralAudience

If the victims were anyone but Christians, and the perpetrators anyone but muslims, the BBC would never be so cold, heartless, and snarky as to put the word massacre in air quotes for the headline.

In the last couple of days, Muslims:
1. Slaughtered 9 Christians in Jordan
2. Beheaded 40+ Christians in Nigeria
3. Massacred 60+ Christians in Ethiopia
4. Raped countless Christian girls in Europe
We cannot coexist with people whose religious scriptures call for our deaths.
