Well said, @Chris_Boardman and @BritishCycling. Channel 5’s “scourge of our streets” film is just unhelpful.
Enough tribalism & clickbait demonisation. Cyclists also walk. Pedestrians also drive. Some drivers even (gasp) cycle.
Let’s just make our streets work for all, agreed?
Cyclists aren’t the ‘scourge of the streets’. They are mothers, fathers, grandparents and children all doing their bit to make Britain a healthier, greener and more liveable place.

Dear @claireperrymp
We've got less than 12 years to act in order to stop a climate catastrophe.
You've got the power to ban fracking and shift the government's focus to renewable technology that will help us cut carbon emissions.
Please do something!
Looking forward to launching Plastic-Free Leytonstone this Tuesday. Speakers from @wfcouncil @WildGooseBakery @friends_earth, opportunities to get involved in local action, ways to reduce your own plastic use. Come along!
Launch of Plastic-Free Leytonstone.
12th February, 7:30pm - 9:00pm, at @LunaLoungeLive. All welcome. Find out how to make Leytonstone plastic-free!

Remember to take your water bottle with you to work today! 15 million plastic bottles are littered, landfilled or incinerated every day just in the UK and you can help to change this.
Great to see you out on the streets, we'll be joining in over the next few weeks
Yesterday our group helped out @Camden_GP with encouraging shoppers outside @sainsburys to hand in their #singleuse #pointlessplastic from goods they had purchased. Thanks for having us #camdengreenpeace

America's push for oil and gas supremacy could lead to a climate catastrophe.
To avert climate disaster, we need a #GreenNewDeal that phases out fossil fuels and offers a just transition to renewable energy.
