Secondary travel print note #13: NEWS on Comey "dirty cop"
Brief ninety second gaggle under the wing upon arrival at JBA.
The president was asked about former FBI Director James Comey being charged by the Justice Department for a third time.
Trump: "No, I don't know too much about it. I just heard about it."
"I think he's a dirty cop, James Comey, but I know nothing about it."
He began the gaggle by talking about his trip to Mississippi and praising Sen. Cynthia Hyde-Smith.
"A great senator, and it was a long trip, but it was an honor, and I loved Mississippi. Won it every time by a record margin." As he was walking towards the Beast, he was asked about the latest ruling as it relates to the East Potomac Park golf course his administration is redesigning. He returned to answer. Q: What about your golf course?
"Not my golf course. It's a public course that's being built in Washington D.C. And it has a go-ahead. The judge feels that she would like to approve it as it goes along. And I didn't know she was an architectural critic of golf courses. She knows nothing about that, so we'll appeal that. But the course itself will move along. It's a beautiful project for Washington D.C."
Finally he was asked about the protests in Europe and if he was worried.
"I'm not worried about it. No, I don't worry about that at all. That's an immigration problem. They have a huge problem. They should have stopped it a long time ago, and I know every one of them. Thank you. Take care. " Pool is motorcading back to the WH. Left JBA at approximately 11:30.

🚁 Secondary travel print note #11
Marine One touched down at Fred W. Smith International at 7:29.
Under a moon one day shy of its full Hunter’s glory, POTUS climbed out of the helicopter and walked to the steps of the plane. Small, rippled clouds above.
Salute to airmen at base. An acknowledgment to the pool but no gaggle.
Pool boarded at 8:35 and we are taxing at 8:40. Wheels up shortly.
And I believe I skipped over note #9, for reasons that are not entirely clear. I regret the error.

VP pool report #7 — Kansas rally
Topeka, Kansas
The VPOTUS motorcade arrived at HME Inc., a steel fabricating facility, at 5:21 pm. There was a small crowd of demonstrators near the entrance, although your pooler was not in position to make out the signs in detail.
Several hundred supporters are inside the venue, with many holding small poster-sized signs that read “Keep Your Tax Cuts,” “Keep The Majority” and “Stop Schumer.” Secretary Burgum, again opening for VPOTUS, took the stage inside the warehouse at HME, Inc. at 5:27 pm., making a few self-described dad jokes during his remarks.
VPOTUS came onto the stage at 5:40 pm, and began with a shoutout to Burgum and Kansas GOP leaders, past and present. He told the crowd that he was in America’s heartland today and while he didn’t grow up in Kansas, “I see my home.” Many of the lines and themes were repeated from his remarks in Montana earlier today, including his assertion that both parties had abandoned Americans and that it was time to restore “sovereignty” to them.
Early on in his remarks, a protester began shouting but was almost immediately drowned out by boos from the crowd and chants of “USA!”. VPOTUS said in response that Democrats’ only chance in this election is by interrupting and but that the party is selling a “fat load of bullshit.”
On GOP Sen Roger Marshall, VPOTUS credited his work on cutting taxes and bolstering border security, saying it “would be impossible to have done any of it without him.” Calling him “Doc Marshall,” VPOTUS said “this man has fought tooth and nail for your state’s families.” He recalled that during his time in the Senate, Marshall was a key partner in the response to the East Palestine train derailment, saying: “My point is that you know a man by the friends and the enemies he makes during times of crisis.”
“Roger is always on your side,” VPOTUS said, gesturing to the crowd in front of him. He announced that the Department of Agriculture was providing “millions of dollars” in new grants for 10 meatpacking facilities in Kansas and said that also could not have been done without Marshall.
He also praised GOP gubernatorial candidate Ty Masterson and urged the crowd to vote for both men.
VPOTUS closed by discussing the stakes of the election, warning that Democratic Senate candidate Adam Hamilton, a pastor, was a “career leftist” said while he doesn’t know what is in Hamilton’s heart, “the law giver in Adam Hamilton’s world, it isn’t Moses, it’s not Jesus, it’s Chuck Schumer.”
VPOTUS wrapped at 6:13 pm. We were back in motorcade promptly and we are rolling as of 6:17 pm.

Hello from the POTUS motorcade. I am taking over from the in-town pool for today’s trip to Corinth, Mississippi.
CNN was slated to be TV pool today, and Politico was slated to be print pool. Both outlets were blocked from travel by the White House. In the absence of the TV and print poolers, Axios will support coverage of the president by sending updates from the secondary print seat.
POTUS emerged from the Oval around 2:08. Photogs spotted Natalie Harp joining POTUS in the Beast.
Motorcade departed from the South lawn at 3:10.
Will advise when we arrive at JBA.
