Such a pleasure to watch a West Ham team play with confidence and swagger. Result is one thing because Wrexham fell apart, but we were relentless, determined and showed real quality for 90 minutes. That’s the template. Desire, attacking and rewarding the patience of the fans.

This performance in the first 60 mins or so has been exceptional. Chance for us to win this by 5 or 6 if we want it. Template of what’s possible and shows that when we play anyway close to our best, we are miles clear of this level. #WHUFC #WHUWRE #COYI

Btw, we haven’t actually played well all season yet, even for long periods against Derby it was pedestrian. If we start clicking, I don’t see any other team in the league coming close to us.

For me, Engels can’t play alongside Mukasa in a two. I’d really like to see Orford take that other CM slot. Play Mukasa as a 10 (or drop Pablo back in there) then have Taty and Piroe rotating up top. Solomon/Austbo rotate the left, Bowen nailed on the right.

Kante dropping a shocker here. Touch is so bad. No-one has been at the levels really but Kante surviving 4 subs here is mad to me. Would have dropped Pablo back and taken Kante off for Piroe. Still time, but we simply have to be better than this. #WHUFC #COYI

How do people keep defending this team? Defending this manager? It’s appalling yet again. I am sick and tired of this team taking liberties of the fans. Players on £100k per week playing at this level and looking like they are amateurs. Shocking. Just shocking.

I am thoroughly thoroughly miserable. This football club is an absolute shambles. This team is wholly and totally unlikeable and need to grow up. Immediately. Honestly, being a West Ham fan is a horrendous experience. Shocking. Absolutely shocking.

Signing Mukasa has obviously come out of leftfield, but as a former Academy of Football player and with City clearly wanting to keep him on the books, that’s got to be positive signs. An attacking, creative player. We’ve been crying out for it. Let’s hope he can deliver! #COYI

Interested to see how Taty and Piroe could play together. Think that Taty might be more effective as the deeper striker with Piroe more direct as a finisher. Bowen must stay off the right though. He simply isn’t as effective when moved centrally. #WHUFC #COYI

Moving out another academy product in George Earthy (pure profit for the books remember) leaves us even shorter than before. Can only imagine that 3 or 4 more incomings must be planned. If only to fill the bench if nothing else. #WHUFC #COYI

Fullkrug had all the ingredients to be a proper West Ham cult hero. It’s a shame he lacked the talent and interest to actually become it. Huge, colossal waste of money and the embodiment of the previous regime. We HAVE to learn from it. #WHUFC #COYI

Joel Piroe and Troy Parrott are very, very different strikers. It doesn't fill me with confidence in Nils Koppen and the team if they are pivoting like that. Build a proper team, getting players that actually fit, not just whoever is available! #COYI #WHUFC

For me, there’s clear priority positions: CB (Kilman ain’t it..) LB (assuming Diouf goes) A creative CAM/CM (to unlock stubborn defences) CF (think that’s pretty obvious) A winger ideally too, but think we could manage without once everyone is fit. #COYI #WHUFC

Not to be reactionary too much, but Nuno staying is the only reason this West Ham team doesn’t get 110 points and destroy the league this season. Single handedly ruining games all the time with his disgusting subs. Seriously, what were we doing?! The game was won!
