I'm noticing a certain problematic trend with media lately where certain members of an audience become so attached to a character, they be to ignore every hint, every warning, every red flag about the character only to then cry "Bad writing" when the big reveal happens.

Coming to terms with Jaetu not getting back together is one thing. But if Datu seriously gets sidelined or forgotten… that would be awful of the writers. I want Jae to have a good love story so bad. I’ll handle Jeatu not being endgame. But I demand they respect Datu’s character.
