The sooner President Trump ignores war-mongering neocons like Thiessen, Levin and Shapiro… the better for everyone. They’ve caused so much damage.
You cannot fully appreciate how delusional and dishonest Marc Thiessen has been about the Iran war until you watch him say over and over again for 9 months that we are just 14 more days of war away from it being over.

Credit & kudos to @DonaldJTrumpJr for his honesty.
🚨 Don Jr Says the Iran War Largely Caused the Republican Losses in the Midterms “Whether you think it was the right decision or not, the Iran war is largely what shifted voter sentiment and caused this wave. It jacked up the price of gas … and it it changed their minds. We also campaigned on not getting into these things.”

In point of fact, the person who speaks honestly about the war, both privately and publicly, is NOT TO BLAME for the failure -- ONCE FREAKING AGAIN -- of the devastatingly toxic neocon stranglehold on the GOP. THIS IS MADNESS.

There is absolutely no circumstance where Senator Thune should remain in a leadership position. He obstructed President Trump’s agenda.

Here's the neocon who's job it was to write lies in speeches for Bush, now infamously claimed there was "no downside" to the Iran War, who blew up TWO Republican Coalitions in TWO decades, painting a bullseye on @JDVance for telling the truth. The horror, he tells the truth!
If @JDVance cannot bring himself to say that Trump made the right decision to disarm Iran, he has no business seeking the GOP nomination to succeed him. If Vance can’t endorse Trump’s national security policy, Trump should not endorse him. wapo.st/4iYKW4q

My friend @CynicalPublius made his Hegseth for President case before a single vote was counted. Then Tuesday happened. He wisely issued a challenge and here is my answer. @JDVance goes 5 for 5 on Publius's own test, won Ohio while outspent 4 to 1, and carried the Blue Wall. Your move, America. Answer my friend's call for making YOUR case for who you want for POTUS in 2028. Artilce link in the comments

This means the admin should focus on cost of living, ending the war, and going back to visible immigration enforcement Polls show it was the single winning issue for Republicans Thats means: It’s Miller Time

Neocons are now passing around fudged polls that were not accurate BEFORE the election to claim the popular peace deal cost Republicans the election, not the unpopular war. No low is too low for the foreign lobby grift. The two pollsters who got the election right, disagree.

Jewish voters 1) are leftists, far leftists, and 2) OPPOSE the Iran War more than ANY OTHER religious demo. So, Ben Shapiro and Mark Levin can stop acting like they speak for American Jews because they do not. They are FRINGE. Matt represents their views on FP more than them.
Wait….the Iran War got us *fewer* Jewish votes?!

Pre-Trump GOP lost multiple elections to Dems, and give us 8 yrs of Obama The GOP is gonna have to learn how to win without their daddy on the ticket And feckless, spineless Republicans like Romney, Tillis, and Cornyn isn’t it

Vance deftly uses polling data and Trump's own words last night on war to acknowledge the reality of what happened. Many steps to go from here, but the administration acknowledging that the message has been received is a solid start.
One of the things the data analysts on our side obsessed over was "composition"—whether the electorate looked close enough to 2024 for Republicans to win. And despite polls that showed a Democrat blowout, the data kept on telling us the same story: in some states turnout was merely OK, in other states it was downright amazing, and in no state was it catastrophic. There was a genuine sense of optimism on our team: our people were showing up. So, I asked the smartest data guy I know, does that mean we're going to shock the world? "No," he told me. "We might do better than the polls suggest. But the data is telling us that a lot of Trump/Vance 2024 voters are pissed and planning to vote for the other guys. Our voters are turning out, but they may not vote for us." Well, that looks prophetic now. Our voters did show up. In Florida, for example, the electorate was 9 points more Republican than Democrat, just a couple points worse than 2024. Undoubtedly there were places we could have done better on turnout. But the main problem is not turnout. The main problem is that many people who voted for Trump/Vance in 2024 voted for Democrats in 2026. There will be a lot of infighting and arguing over what happened and why that is. One of the pollsters I really respect told me that our economic messaging wasn’t sharp enough down the stretch. I’m sure that’s true. But the real reason we lost is obvious to almost everyone. Another pollster—one of the smartest people I know in politics, told me yesterday we’d lose the generic ballot by 13 points. I felt negative going into Tuesday, but even I was shocked by this. In his polling, he saw that a lot of Trump 2024 voters were angry and planning to vote for Democrats. He asked those voters who had abandoned us what would cause them to come back on our team. The top four answers, accounting for nearly all of the responses were: 1) End the war 2) Focus on cost of living/inflation 3) Put America First 4) Change our relationship to Israel Our voters showed up. And the above four reasons are why many of them voted for Democrats. This is according to a pollster who nailed the results. While many spent Monday attacking Rachel Campos Duffy for calling for a diplomatic resolution to the conflict, it turns out her political advice was sound. (She’s also a great person.) In the next few months, there's going to be a lot of gaslighting. Expect to hear any number of establishment politicians say the solution to our woes is amnesty. I'm open to the idea that we should change enforcement—by focusing more on businesses that hire illegal labor, for instance. But anyone pushing amnesty is lying to you. The reason we lost is the war. The president himself said so last night. If you'd like to argue it was worth it, that losing the Senate for the next 6 years was worth it, then do so. Argue it was a worthwhile cost to pay. Agree or disagree, that's at least honest. But everyone knows why we lost. And any honest conversation about where we go from here must start there. I remain hopeful about our country. To the people who are pissed off and want to say, “I told you so”: you’re right, you did tell us so. Take that energy into electing Republicans who share your worldview. To the people who are just pissed at the results, you should be. Let’s take that anger and get back to the work of saving our country.

We published this one month after the war kicked off. We were right. And the miscalculation on the Iran War led to total disaster. Predictable result of trusting neocons.

FLASHBACK: Me on June 16, 2025, right before Operation Midnight, warning President Donald Trump and Republicans that the majorities would be obliterated fora DECADE if he pulled the trigger the damn Israel Lobby. Great job, Mark Levin! Great job, Ben Shapiro!
Kiss the Republican majority goodbye... For the next decade. If he pulls the trigger, it's all over for MAGA.
