Hon. Princess Persis Namuganza, State Minister for Housing, held a press conference at the Uganda Media Centre to provide updates on the 2nd Edition of the Uganda Real Estate & Housing Expo (UREHE) 2026.
The press conference brought together the Ministry of Lands, Housing and Urban Development (MLHUD) and its partners to officially announce the upcoming Expo and the accompanying Annual Housing Conference. The engagement highlighted the Ministry’s continued efforts to promote Uganda’s real estate and housing sector, raise public awareness, and provide a platform for stakeholders to share information, innovations, investment opportunities, and sustainable housing solutions.
UREHE 2026 is positioned as an important platform for bringing together Government, private-sector players, developers, financial institutions, professionals, and the public to discuss, showcase, and explore developments, opportunities, and solutions within Uganda’s housing and real estate industry.

WITH LOVE UGANDA APOLOGY STATEMENT
It has come to our attention that we may have caused nationwide excitement, a spike in architectural confidence & a few sleepless nights, all because of one big little idea: A hospital design competition with USD 15,000 on the table.
And yes, we apologise for pushing the wild notion that a rural community like Zirobwe deserves a hospital so beautiful it could make international headlines. We shared coordinates, drone footage, site details and answered endless questions just to ensure no brilliant mind was left out. Shameful behaviour.
