Last night another cohort of @WestMerciaSAR trainee Search Techs took their assessments and became operational.
First time seeing a Brocken Spectre, photo taken on the #malvern Hills this week.
Didn’t know what one was so googled it, its a magnified shadow of an observer cast in mid air upon any type of cloud opposite a strong light source (the sun)

We always strive to teach our cadets new skills that they can use to help keep our communities safe, so a massive thanks to @WestMerciaSAR for a brilliant session tonight. Team building, water rescue and search skills all crammed in a couple of hours!!
Final prep done and we are ready to give @WMerciaPolice Cadets a great insight into our #search role tomorrow evening at Police HQ. Also a good opportunity to promote @noriverdeaths with the #HomeAndDry message with them too.

Could you spend a minute to nominate us for a chance to win £1000. A small community charity like ours would really benefit from this grant to go towards the operational running costs.
