Really looking forward to attending Vaisakhi at Tally Ho! this Saturday (24th May). It’s a special celebration from the Sikh community that’s open to all – a great opportunity to come together, learn, and enjoy a day of culture, food, and fun. Hope to see some of you there!
Thoughts with our Catholic friends & all affected by the death of Pope Francis.
His commitment to the marginalised, and till his last breath, the unwavering compassion he showed to the oppressed will be never be forgotten.

This International Women’s Day WM AMP organised its first women-only iftar where colleagues, joined by family, have come together to celebrate the strength and resilience of women in a welcoming atmosphere, embracing both our faith and the spirit of togetherness.
Remembering our #Christian & #Jewish friends throughout Christmas & Hanukkah!
Praying for unity in our communities & remembering those working today to keep us safe.
Special prayers for the less fortunate & may the Almighty protect & guide us all to goodness.
Sgt Ahmed visited Masjid Usman today with some of the team. A great engagement opportunity with the youth groups who were happy to get an insight into policing and ask any questions they may have had!
Thanks to Tipton NHT’s PC KHAN and PCSO MOORE who joined the community at Kanzul Iman Central Jamia Mosque for the Annual Children’s Mawlid Event as well as to Cllr Rizwan Jalil from Sandwell MBC and the organisers Shaykh Muhammad Al-Yaqoubi at Blossoming Flowers for inviting us.
A lot of positive engagement from the Tipton community from both parents and children who had attended. @Cllr_Oldbury
This is an excellent appointment for a new chair. Jas is a competent leader and has all the qualities to continue steering @wmp_sikh in the right direction.
