Kiharu MP Ndindi Nyoro has escalated his feud with Nyandarua Senator John Methu by naming the recipients of the Ol Kalou campaign cash, saying former Deputy President Rigathi Gachagua called him and Methu came to his office, where he gave half of the money to the senator and sent the other half to Gachagua through his personal assistant Wamumbi. Speaking during a People's Party of Kenya (PPK) delegates meeting on Tuesday, October 27, Nyoro dismissed Methu's claim that he lent him money to buy a car, insisting the loan came well before the July 16 by-election and accusing the senator of using campaign funds for his own vehicle. “Gachagua called me, and Methu came to my office. I gave him half of the money for the Ol Kalou campaigns, then gave the other half to Wamumbi, Rigathi's PA. If you bought a new car, ask yourselves within your party.”
