Last year, while I was deep in the making of "The Fragility of the Self", a series about identity and how it is found, lost, stretched and transformed, I had just finished being part of @WaitHopeFound Sincretismo Digital residency as an advisor. One question runs through the whole series: what part of us remains when we try to belong? Syncretism stayed with me while I worked. Different currents meet and fuse into something new, each one keeping its own memory. An identity that joins and grows stronger. "Syncretic Vortex" is where that thought landed. What is one’s own and what is absorbed turn together in a single movement. Each essence is projected to enrich the whole, and belonging becomes a hybrid refuge, forged with the courage to build together. Currently on auction on @SuperRare
