Annamalai projected himself or was projected by his fans as someone different from the usual politicians. That was precisely what was sold as his uniqueness. Now you want us not to criticize him because apparently he is just like others?
The irony just died a thousand deaths!

Issue over here is not abt Annamalai wishing Annadurai or Periyar
Even few other people from TN BJP had wished them earlier too
But issue with him is "changing the stand even worst than a chameleon"
Example Central minister and former TN BJP chief Murugan had wished Periyar but u can't see him criticising Periyar the way Annamalai used to
We can say for sure H Raja Ji won't wish even if alliance with DMK is going to happen that's how he wanna be projected
We can't be 100% sure that Madam Tamilisai will be in similar stand because that's how she want to project herself not a hardliner
But Annamalai wanna project himself as a hardliner when he quoted the incident happened between "THEVAR and அண்ணாதுரை" in Madurai
But today all of sudden he is pouring wishes on Periyar and Annadurai 😂
Who are u brother? What are u standing for??
My exposes abt his past history being a anti hindu liberal guy supporting Perumal Murugan
Later crying for "Kantha shahsti issue"
Earlier taking the stand of a congress fellow criticising Modi ji act as a Drama till 2013/2014
Later saying he is my role model in 2016
He is just do whatever makes him in power or attention 🤦🏽🤦🏽
"CHAMELEON" would be shamed to be compared with him on changing stands

After 6 long years, former AAP councillor and AIMIM candidate Tahir Hussain gets life imprisonment in the murder of Ankit Sharma.
That the Delhi Riots was anti-Hindu gets the first official seal of confirmation.
There is no ‘justice’ per se, because that would Hussain goes through exactly what he put Ankit through. But this is perhaps the best the state can do.
Finally.

Don’t know about Rang De Basanti, but let me tell you what some of us millennials actually grew up watching.
I was in primary school during the 1993 Mumbai bombings -- too young to even understand what terrorism meant. But I distinctly remember my mom repeatedly warning me not to pick up anything lying around while playing outside because, you know, it could be a bomb.
That was childhood.
Then came the seemingly endless procession of attacks: the 1993 Mumbai blasts, Red Fort in 2000, Parliament in 2001, the Mumbai bus bombings and Akshardham in 2002, three separate blasts within eight months in Mumbai in 2003, the 2005 Delhi blasts, the 2007 Hyderabad bombings, and the 2008 Bangalore and Ahmedabad blasts.
In July 2006, I was supposed to be on one of the trains that was bombed near Mahim. I stayed back at the office because of a meeting. A completely mundane change of plans is probably the reason I’m alive to type this instead of being a name on a list of the dead.
I remember that evening far better than I remember any stupid movie. Our office went into lockdown. Phones were jammed. People were crying and frantically trying to reach their families. Nobody knew what was happening, whether there were more bombs, or whether someone they loved was lying dead inside a mangled train compartment.
Two years later came 26/11.
I had the misfortune of watching uncensored footage of the aftermath. One clip showed bodies being piled and stacked inside a makeshift room at CST while someone wheeled in another load on a bloodied wheelbarrow, with blood dripping onto the floor. The sanitised footage shown on television didn't come remotely close to what actually happened inside that station.
So yes, us millennials lived through an era where we went to work knowing that the crime of simply boarding the wrong train, getting on the wrong bus, eating at the wrong restaurant, or standing on the wrong street at the wrong fucking moment could get you blown to pieces or riddled with bullets.
Some of us literally went to work wondering, somewhere at the back of our minds, whether this would be the commute we wouldn't come home from.
So please, spare us millennials this sanctimonious horseshit about Rang De Basanti and what some Bollywood movie supposedly should have taught us about how to vote.

Unpopular opinion: Indian millennials are the most underrated generation in the country's history.
Not Gen Z with their reels and outrage. Not Boomers who love reminding them how "simple" their lives were. Them. The ones who actually built the bridge
They were kids when India nearly went bankrupt in '91 and had to pledge its gold reserves to survive.
They grew up post-Babri, post-nuclear-sanctions, labeled a "rogue state" by half the world.
Then watched their own country flip the script in a decade. Nobody talks about how insane that timeline is.
One TV. One landline. Waited their turn for everything.
Then somehow became the generation that built India's IT boom, ran call centers the West mocked them for, and turned Bangalore into a city Silicon Valley now studies.
Gen Z got wifi at birth. They built the wifi.
Say what you want about them — "corporate" /try-hard, LinkedIn cringe, millennial cringe
They rebuilt what "Indian" means globally, with zero playbook, while getting mocked by the generations on both sides of them.
