We are excited to be hosting @popgenchen this week!
The Marsh Mistress (aka @EllaOutdoors) outside the @ElizRiverProj Ryan Resilience Lab. Ella serves as the Environmental Project Manager and was giving @ODUSCI @BIOLOGYatODU @ODU Biology Professor Eric Walters, her PhD Advisor, a behind-the-scenes tour of this incredible facility.
Our @BIOLOGYatODU Social Vertebrates of California class was out at AΓ±o Nuevo State Park today. We had great looks at elephant seals, harbor seals, California sea lions, pigeon guillemots, western grebes, pelagic cormorants, and a host of other species.
Our lab is leading a @BIOLOGYatODU study away @oduabroad class on the Social Vertebrates of California. Todayβs field trip to Point Lobos State Natural Reserve included a chance to view sea otters, seals, sea lions, Brandtβs cormorants, and a host of other species.

Not sure what to make of a statement like this: βno applicant fulfills the requirements for the position as stated in the job descriptionβ. Maybe itβs just me but this seems like a problemβ¦ π€·
We are devastated to let the world know that we lost Dr. Vicki Garcia on June 9th. She had an amazing spirit and a kind heart and is someone who will never be forgotten. Thank you for enriching our lives and making the world better. You are missed and loved. π
