i went to a speed dating/friending event at an axe throwing place where i didn’t leave with a cute girl’s number, but i did leave with some primo lesbian bait for twitter 😘
i’m always going off about Legion season 3 but god DAMN there’s a reason this show has been my #1 superhero comic book show since season 1. episode 7 is an absolute all-timer. glad i’m doing this rewatch!
there’s a lot to be said about games promising a vast expanse to explore only for those spaces to be empty, but somehow Mass Effect gets it right, giving you uncharted planets of truly alien feeling beauty that you know you only get to experience because of your in-world status
god he’s SO FINE!!! can’t believe i still haven’t done a Garrus romance playthrough. will certainly be my next one!
legitimately one of the greatest opening sequences in gaming history. the way Mass Effect 3 perfectly sets up the stakes while hyping you up to fight what feels like an impossible conflict is a feeling i don’t think any other series has ever replicated. everything has led to this
i’m always cynical about fan campaigns, but it really do be feeling like we need to #SaveMassEffect bc there’s just nothing else like it. it’s special in so many ways that have been so influential for so many games. ppl who’ve never even played it have so much to thank it for
i just remembered they announced the God Valley flashback will be a movie and now i am *vibrating* with excitement

Bioware closing down genuinely has companies and other games mourning. Do you know how fucked up a decision has to be for this to happen dawg
BioWare has always inspired us, and it's hard to say goodbye to our idols. Thank you for everything, @BioWare. Many of us wouldn’t be in the games industry without your legacy.

what if we had a game that was mass effect meets cyberpunk 2077 meets bg3’s player freedom and also liara was a milf in it and we nuked it. that makes sense

EA talking about some annual sports franchises enhanced with generative AI when I could have been Superman punching aliens in the schnozz is why they will always be The Enemy
the way i’m going to have a heart attack if this actually ends up being true… Keelah se’lai

So I was told this morning that the new Mass Effect game was 80% COMPLETED! The release date was going to be 2027, N7 Day. 🥲
I was also told that for the first 4 years of development, EA was trying to force them to do a 5-hour Fortnite style game with--
oh i haven’t listened to the Mass Effect score in so long and i don’t know why this is the first one i decided to listen through but i’m legitimately tearing up right now 😭 it’s over dude… it’s really fucking over 😭😭😭 open.spotify.com/track/08rvn…
oh it’s… literally everything i could ever want from a new Mass Effect game… it’s gonna take me a while to recover from this 💔
I can finally talk about Mass Effect Universe.
Since Bioware closed I can now reveal that I was part of the Mass Effect Council, saw what BioWare was building, and provided feedback during development.
• Set 600+ years after the Reaper War
• You play as a customizable N7 agent
• Instead of being a walking gun rack, you're a cross between John Wick and James Bond
• Shepard's legacy preserved, regardless of your ending
• A galaxy divided into three major factions
• Humanity, Krogan, Batarians, and more allied together
• Council races forming their own alliance
• The Geth emerging as a third superpower
• A galactic Cold War instead of another Reaper style invasion with a shadowy adversary
• Geth-built megastructures
• Connections between the Milky Way and Andromeda
• Experimental technology implanted in you as a unique point of difference
• Hacking and manipulating the environment
• See through walls, identify systems, remotely trigger hazards and more
• Handcrafted missions like ME1-3
• But with Hitman-style freedom in how you complete them
• Brutal close-range executions
• Squadmates who can clash with each other
• Romance wasn't being sanitised
• Liara returns - now an incredibly powerful Asari Matriarch
From what I saw, BioWare was making Mass Effect for us, the fans, not for people who don't exist.
It looked incredible.
And now we may never get to play it.

i would personally shoot GTA VI in the head and bury it out back myself if i knew it would guarantee us a Mass Effect 4
