By Sola Scriptura and Apostle Paulβs Doctrine
π£π₯πππππ
One of the greatest errors in Christianity is assuming that because Jesus Christ is the Saviour, everything He preached during His earthly ministry must therefore be the same gospel later revealed to Apostle Paul.
That conclusion ignores ππ¨ππππ‘ππ, π§ππ ππππ‘π, and π₯ππ©ππππ§ππ’π‘.
Jesus Christ certainly knew He would die and rise again. The issue is not what Christ knew. The issue is:
πͺπππ§ ππ’π¦π£ππ πͺππ¦ ππ π£π₯ππππππ‘π?
And Scripture answers that question.
πππ¦π¨π¦ πππ₯ππ¦π§ πͺππ¦ π¦ππ‘π§ π§π’ ππ¦π₯πππ
Jesus plainly identified the people to whom His earthly ministry was directed:
βBut he answered and said, I am not sent but unto the lost sheep of the house of Israel.β
β Matthew 15:24 KJV
When He commissioned the twelve during that ministry, He commanded:
βThese twelve Jesus sent forth, and commanded them, saying, ππ’ π‘π’π§ ππ‘π§π’ π§ππ πͺππ¬ π’π π§ππ πππ‘π§ππππ¦, and into any city of the Samaritans enter ye not: But go rather to the lost sheep of the house of Israel.β
β Matthew 10:5β6 KJV
Paul later confirms exactly what Christ was doing:
βNow I say that Jesus Christ was a minister of the circumcision for the truth of God, to confirm the promises made unto the fathers:β
β Romans 15:8 KJV
That is π£π₯π’π£ππππ¬.
Christ was confirming promises already made to Israelβs fathers.
Paulβs mystery revelation, by contrast, concerns truth that had previously been πππ£π§ π¦πππ₯ππ§.
πͺπππ§ ππ’π¦π£ππ πππ πππ¦π¨π¦ π£π₯ππππ?
Matthew tells us explicitly:
βAnd Jesus went about all Galilee, teaching in their synagogues, and preaching π§ππ ππ’π¦π£ππ π’π π§ππ πππ‘πππ’π β¦β
β Matthew 4:23 KJV
Again:
βAnd Jesus went about all the cities and villages, teaching in their synagogues, and preaching π§ππ ππ’π¦π£ππ π’π π§ππ πππ‘πππ’π β¦β
β Matthew 9:35 KJV
What was being announced?
βRepent: for π§ππ πππ‘πππ’π π’π ππππ©ππ‘ ππ¦ ππ§ πππ‘π.β
β Matthew 4:17 KJV
The promised King was standing among Israel, and Israelβs promised kingdom was being offered according to prophecy.
That is not the message Paul later summarizes in 1 Corinthians 15:1β4.
This fact destroys the claim that Jesus and the twelve were already preaching Paulβs gospel.
Jesus sent the twelve out preaching:
βAnd he sent them to preach π§ππ πππ‘πππ’π π’π ππ’π, and to heal the sick.β
β Luke 9:2 KJV
βAnd they departed, and went through the towns, π£π₯ππππππ‘π π§ππ ππ’π¦π£ππ, and healing every where.β
β Luke 9:6 KJV
They were therefore already preaching βthe gospel.β
But later in the same chapter, Jesus told them about His coming death:
βLet these sayings sink down into your ears: for the Son of man shall be delivered into the hands of men.β
β Luke 9:44 KJV
What happened?
βππ¨π§ π§πππ¬ π¨π‘πππ₯π¦π§π’π’π π‘π’π§ π§πππ¦ π¦ππ¬ππ‘π, and it was hid from them, that they perceived it notβ¦β
β Luke 9:45 KJV
Read that carefully.
They were already π£π₯ππππππ‘π π§ππ ππ’π¦π£ππ, yet they did not understand Christβs coming death.
Therefore, the gospel they were preaching could not have been:
βChrist died for our sinsβ¦ he was buriedβ¦ he rose again the third day.β
You cannot preach as your saving message something you do not yet understand.

Stop and think about this for a moment...
The Apostle Paul is to be viewed as the first (prototype) of those saved under the revelation of the mystery - saved purely by grace apart from Israelβs prophetic/kingdom program - and is also to be viewed as the steward to whom the risen Christ committed the dispensation of the grace of God for the Body of Christ.
(Please see Ephesians 3:1β9; Romans 16:25; Colossians 1:25β27)

Youβre quoting James 2:24 as if it cancels Paulβs gospel. That is not rightly dividing the word of truth (2 Timothy 2:15).
James is writing to βthe twelve tribes which are scattered abroadβ (James 1:1). That is Israel under the kingdom program, not the Body of Christ. Different audience, different program, different instructions.
Paul, the apostle of the Gentiles, received the revelation of the mystery and declares without apology:
βTherefore we conclude that a man is justified by faith without the deeds of the law.β (Romans 3:28)
βFor by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: it is the gift of God: Not of works, lest any man should boast.β (Ephesians 2:8-9)
βBut to him that worketh not, but believeth on him that justifieth the ungodly, his faith is counted for righteousness.β (Romans 4:5)
Abraham is the key. Paul shows Abraham was justified by faith before circumcision and before any works of the law (Romans 4:1-11; Galatians 3:6-9). That is the pattern for us Gentiles under grace today.
James takes Abraham after the covenant and after the offering of Isaac and says the works proved his faith was genuine according to covenant. That is justification in the eyes of God under Israelβs program, not the root of salvation for the Body of Christ.
Mixing Jamesβ kingdom epistle with Paulβs grace message is how you end up condemning βfaith aloneβ when Paul is the one who was given the gospel of the grace of God for this dispensation (Acts 20:24; Galatians 1:11-12; Romans 16:25).
Faith alone saves. Works follow as the fruit in the believerβs life under grace. But the moment you make works part of the *cause* of justification, you have left Paulβs gospel and gone back under a system that was never given to the Body of Christ.
Rightly divide. Stay with Paul.

False dichotomy, friend. Both doors lead to the same legalist trap.
You present it like a binary:
Saturday = βBible onlyβ
Sunday = βRomeβs traditionβ
Paul, writing by the Spirit to the Body of Christ, laughs at both options.
Rightly divided, KJV style:
The Sabbath was a sign between the LORD and the children of Israel (Exodus 31:13, 16-17). Not between the LORD and the Body of Christ. Israel under the Law. We are not Israel, and we are not under the Law (Romans 6:14; Galatians 3:23-25; Colossians 2:14).
Paul, the apostle of the Gentiles, steward of the mystery, never once commands a single member of the Body to keep the seventh-day Sabbath. Not once. What he does say:
βLet no man therefore judge you in meat, or in drink, or in respect of an holyday, or of the new moon, or of the sabbath days: Which are a shadow of things to come; but the body is of Christ.β Colossians 2:16-17
Thatβs not ambiguous. Thatβs a direct hit. The weekly Sabbath is listed with the other shadows. You donβt get to carve it out because your favorite YouTube channel said so.
Romans 14 exists for a reason. Galatians 4:9-11 exists for a reason. If you turn around and put people back under days, months, times, and years after they believed Paulβs gospel, youβre not βkeeping the pure Bible.β Youβre just a different flavor of Judaizer.
You keep screaming βSola Scriptura!β while ignoring the only apostle who was given the revelation of the Body of Christ and its distinct calling. Thatβs not Bible-only. Thatβs Israelβs program + Adventist tradition dressed up as purity.
Rome changed the day. Fine. You kept the day and ignored the dispensation. Both of you are still measuring yourselves by a covenant that was never given to the Church which is His Body.
Christ is our Sabbath rest (the reality, not the shadow). We donβt need a calendar day to prove it. We already have the finished work.
So no, the choice isnβt βSaturday or Rome.β
The choice is Law or Grace.
Paul already settled it.
Youβre welcome.

Examples of Biblical but not Dispensational truth for today:
1) Sabbath keeping: given to Israel as a sign (Neh 9:13; Col 2:16). Not required under grace.
2) Abstaining from certain meats: required under the Law (Lev 11) but a doctrine of demons if imposed today (1 Tim 4:1β5). All foods are sanctified for believers under grace. Different dietary instructions appear in different dispensations.
3) Speaking in tongues: a sign gift used during the Acts transition period while revelation was incomplete (Acts 2; 1 Cor 13β14). Tongues would cease when βthat which is perfect β (the completed Word of God) came. Modern tongues practices do not follow the Biblical regulations and elevate experience over the more sure Word of prophecy (2 Peter 1).

Jesus was not preaching Matthew, Mark, Luke, or John. Those books were written *after* His earthly ministry, by men who recorded what He said and did under the law to the nation of Israel.
What Jesus actually preached is plainly stated:
βNow after that John was put in prison, Jesus came into Galilee, preaching the gospel of the kingdom of God, And saying, The time is fulfilled, and the kingdom of God is at hand: repent ye, and believe the gospel.β (Mark 1:14-15)
That is the gospel of the kingdom, the good news that the promised Davidic kingdom was at hand for Israel if the nation would repent (Matthew 4:17, 4:23, 9:35, 10:5-7; 15:24). It was according to prophecy, under the law, and limited to βthe lost sheep of the house of Israel.β Gentiles were excluded except as they came through Israel.
That is not the gospel God has committed to us in this present dispensation.
The gospel for today was revealed later, by the risen Christ, to the Apostle Paul as a mystery kept secret since the world began:
βBut I certify you, brethren, that the gospel which was preached of me is not after man. For I neither received it of man, neither was I taught it, but by the revelation of Jesus Christ.β (Galatians 1:11-12)
βMoreover, brethren, I declare unto you the gospel which I preached unto youβ¦ how that Christ died for our sins according to the scriptures; And that he was buried, and that he rose again the third day according to the scriptures.β (1 Corinthians 15:1-4)
This is the gospel of the grace of God (Acts 20:24) justification by faith alone without the deeds of the law (Romans 3:24-28; 4:5; Ephesians 2:8-9), for Jew and Gentile alike in one new man, the Body of Christ (Ephesians 2:14-16; 3:1-9).
Jesus did not preach that gospel during His earthly ministry. The twelve did not preach it in early Acts. It was a later revelation given to Paul for this age of grace.
We follow the four Gospels because they are Scripture, profitable for doctrine, and they record the earthly ministry of our Lord. But we do not put ourselves under the program, the kingdom gospel, or the law that Jesus and the twelve preached to Israel. We rightly divide the word of truth (2 Timothy 2:15) and stand in the distinct revelation given through Paul.
The question assumes all βgospelβ is the same. Scripture says otherwise.
