Making the victorious skins for wins and not rank takes the value away.

Hekili will sunset with the launch of WoW's Midnight pre-patch (12.0). I hope the addon helped you take on (and overcome?) new challenges in the game that you otherwise might never have done. Thanks for the support, feedback, and...discourse?...over all these years. Aloha 🤙

1 year of consistency in the gym and just a overall healthy lifestyle and I’m very happy with the progress I have made so far. Down 40 lbs and slowly hitting goals didn’t think I would be hitting by now.

First stream truly feeling like myself. Thank you to @highfivelol & @biggysweats for the massive hosts today. It has been a really hard year and a half but I’m happy to be on the other side of it and looking toward the future and achieving my dreams.

I’m very happy to see this Collector’s Bounty event in World of Warcraft. Though I have no mounts to farm from this, it is something I’ve been asking for the community for many years. It’s really fun seeing other folks go out & relive legacy content getting cool mounts / tmog thank you @Warcraft for doing this 🧡

I haven’t posted too much about KCIP/Partner income on Kick since I got into the program over a year ago. I just wanted to acknowledge how much potential is actually there for creators. At first, I was making a little bit of extra money per stream. Less than $10 an hour, but still, that extra income helped a lot. A year and some months later, it has steadily increased over time with my metrics, to the point where it’s nearing “life changing.” We’re still not quite there but we’re closer than ever. By “life changing” I mean that I can consider this a career and live comfortably. I don’t mean rich or wealthy. It has substantially improved my life, and I couldn’t be more grateful for the platform, the people I’ve met, and those who supported me to be able to get this far. It’s too early for celebrations, but we’re not far now. There’s never been a platform like Kick for creators. Not even remotely close. I’ve been on Twitch, YouTube, and several other places over the last 15-18 years. I started making content almost as soon as YouTube came into existence. I was just a kid at the time. I did manage to build a small community on Twitch, and I did manage to make some money through YouTube. But I put so much work in for not much in return, and that really hurt my motivation. I’d come back and try again and again, but life would get too busy to keep up with content creation in the way I wanted to. Kick is the only platform that ever felt like they cared if you succeed rather than if their business venture is profitable. I really don’t expect that from any platform, because you shouldn’t expect a platform to put the creators before the business. Kick has done that time and time again. It gets way too much hate and not enough credit for that aspect alone. I wasn’t sold on it entirely when I first joined in January of 2023. I wanted to get back to creating content and wanted to find the best place to do that. I looked at YouTube, Rumble, and Kick. Twitch wasn’t even option because it’s damn near impossible to grow without doing something else alongside it. If I wanted to go with Twitch, my plan would’ve been to start by making YouTube content. Once that had gained traction, start doing streams on Twitch. But even that didn’t make much sense when I could just stream to YouTube. I didn’t want to multistream. I wanted everyone in one place. One chat, one channel, one place that had exclusive live content. I took a chance on Kick almost entirely because of @StakeEddie’s vision for the platform and the fact he was consulting with veteran streamers to make it a reality. I had a limited time to do this. It either had to be successful or I’d have to find a job or return to school or get some sort of training. There’s nothing wrong with that, but the thought of it depressed me. I never functioned very well with a regular job or school, even though I did well and was a good employee. The fact that I’m still here means I was successful enough to keep going. In some way, Kick saved me from a life I didn’t want to live with an opportunity nowhere else could provide. There was no guarantee I’d be successful. There was no guarantee that their promises would be fulfilled. This is just the platform I chose to put my trust in, and it paid off. It could all still not work out. I could still not be as successful as I need to be. But, I never thought I’d be where I am now. I truly don’t think that would’ve been possible without Kick and the people who supported me and STILL support me 2 years later. I’m just grateful. I don’t think my supporters or the platform realize what they did for me, but thank you. Don’t get me wrong, I worked HARD. It just never amounted to much success previously. But I’m happy that I’ve made some of my best content on Kick, and become a much better creator. If you’re in any sort of similar position, I don’t think there are many other options. There’s just not another platform like Kick. See you tonight. 🙏
