Some common sense.
📰🚨 Bank of Israel responds to Netanyahu’s remarks on Saturday:
“Cryptocurrencies cannot serve as a way to circumvent sanctions.
The right course of action for Israel’s economy is to preserve our economic relationships with our major trading partners and focus on preventing sanctions and their negative impact on the economy.”

The most important thing today is that Starlink and Starshield operations have been restored to the speeds we had before the restrictions. The speeds are now where they need to be. The restoration began overnight, and by this morning, speeds were already sufficient. This matters: for our frontline logistics, for defending Ukraine against jet-powered “shaheds.”
I thank all Americans and all our partners who took this seriously and truly helped – members of Congress, senators, all the media, the State Department, and the President. Protecting lives matters.

There is no viable “bypass economy”whether through blockchain or other sanctions-evasion mechanisms that could shield Israel from a comprehensive U.S. financial and economic sanctions campaign.
Israel has meaningful political and policy options to mitigate that risk. Believing you can circumvent American sanctions is not one of them.

“There has always been antisemitism to some extent,” she adds. “Lately there is much more because it’s so acceptable. Prominent people do it, hiding behind being anti-Zionist, which some people are. I always say, you can be anti-Zionist and not antisemitic, but you can also be both.”

Slightly strange from Britain's Foreign Secretary Ed Miliband @Ed_Miliband ...
From @AmnestyUSA
Over one year since the ceasefire agreement, more than 1,400 people have been killed by Israeli forces in Gaza, nearly two million still need shelter, not a single hospital is fully functioning, and 1.4 million face crisis-level hunger.
Accountability cannot be swept under the rubble. The recovery and future of Gaza cannot be separated from a framework grounded in international law, justice, and the rights of victims.
The persistent failure to hold Israel accountable and press Israel to comply with the International Court of Justice’s binding orders continues to fuel the atrocity crimes on a mass scale against Palestinians.

The status quo has failed and US policy toward Israel needs to change.
In a new @NYTimes essay, former Deputy National Security Advisor Jon Finer makes the case for real consequences for Israeli policies that undermine peace, an end to the blank check for Israeli governments, and an American approach that stands up for the rights of both Israelis and Palestinians.

AIPAC dropping direct PAC contributions won’t erase its record of spending big to protect an agenda of unconditional support for the Netanyahu government in Washington. And as long as its super PAC keeps pouring millions in dark money into elections, the fight for a different kind of politics continues. More on our take:
