Coretta Scott King was truly a generous gift. One of my favorite little known facts about her — was that her children attended an acting school. When the owners of the acting school gave birth to their daughter, Julia Roberts, Correta Scott King paid all of their hospital bills.

Canceling student loan debt would put money back in people’s pockets. That’s money they can spend to support local small businesses, or even start their own. That’s money they can use to save up for a home. That’s money that can boost our whole economy.

I’ve started doing Zoom workshops for organizations—Tisch/NYU, DGC, NOFF, Sony TV Diverse Directors Program, UC Riverside, GA Southern U, FSU, Kings College London, Film Hub/BFI. They’ve gone well. If your school, festival, or group wants to invite me, I’ll probably say yes. 💛
