Today, communities in Kitchener-Conestoga and around the world will celebrate Lunar New Year. During this time, also known as the Spring Festival, families and friends will come together to celebrate and participate in various festivities, including family meals, cultural performances, fireworks, and parades. Last year, I was graciously invited by the Waterloo Region Chinese Canadian Association to join them for their annual event. To celebrate, I surprised them by learning and performing a song in Cantonese - an experience I will never forget! – at Kitchener, Ontario
