I do get it to an extent but if I ran a pub I'd probably not want my pub to be known as the one you have to wade through human shit to get to. I'd also be 92% pork scratchings and scampi fries.
Former footballer and sports commentator Andy Townsend, has called out a walker for having a shit in his local pub toilet and then leaving without buying a drink. He’s right. Do you agree?

I am not a science man but how much of this is just correlation between people *willing* to stand under cold water also *willing* to work through being ill?
A 30-second cold blast at the end of your shower cuts sick days by 29 percent. A 2016 trial of 3,018 adults in the Netherlands is the largest cold-shower study ever done. Geert Buijze at the Academic Medical Centre in Amsterdam split participants into four groups: 30, 60, or 90 seconds of cold water at the end of a shower, or no cold water. They did this for 30 days straight. All three cold groups had 29 percent fewer sick days. The length did not matter. Thirty seconds worked as well as ninety. The mechanism is thought to involve the immune system. Brief cold exposure triggers a spike in white blood cell count and an increase in metabolic rate, both of which are part of the body's response to what it perceives as a physical threat. Over time, repeated cold exposure appears to train the immune system to respond faster and more efficiently to infections. The study also found that 91 percent of participants in the cold-water group said they would continue the practice after the trial ended, even though most of them described the experience as unpleasant. They reported feeling more energetic, and the energy boost was the reason they kept going. Thirty seconds. At the end of the shower you were already taking. The water does not have to be ice cold. It has to be cold enough to make you gasp, and you have to stay in it for a count of thirty. pubmed.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/2763…

Gave this a go but didn't quite work out how I expected so pivoting, if anyone wants to beta test my app I just need a few people with IBS to log in and answer some questions and upload some photos.

Choosing to believe the low fee is justified seeing as the only people who can afford to pay what he's worth are teams we aim to compete with. Extra 10-15m is all well and good until he pips us to a European spot or knock us out of a cup before posting solanke in the pen.
A fee in the region of £25.6m is being discussed between #Tottenham and Inter Milan for Djed Spence. [@JackPittBrooke / @jaydmharris] 🥇

Can't believe I was only Niall Quinn bathing me away from playing for Ireland.
Lionel Messi once held a baby Lamine Yamal for a charity photoshoot. 19 years later, the two will play against each other in the World Cup final.

Was the first time the BBC listened to Giroud talk about football the same time as us? What steps took, or more crucially perhaps, did not take place so that led to his appearance on our television sets? Andy Burnham must do something about this. His first test as PM.

Cycling to Brighton for @TheBHF in a few weeks, aiming to be at least one yid who doesn’t bottle their trip to the Amex. If you’ve even a couple quid spare it will go a long way and will be massively appreciated. justgiving.com/fundraising/a… Coys, Andrew
