I told you years ago that it's EAS, the EBS system is out of date.
FEMA and the FCC have officially scheduled a nationwide Emergency Alert System[EAS] test for Tuesday, November 17, 2026, at approximately 2:20 p.m. ET.
A backup date is also scheduled If severe weather or a real-world emergency occurs on November 17.
The backup date is set for Thursday, December 3, 2026.
This particular alert will by Broadcasts only.
The alert will strictly hit radio stations, television broadcasters, cable systems, and satellite providers.
So, unlike the major test in 2023, cell phones will not receive any alerts, text messages, or buzzes of any kind during this test.
Under the IPAWS Modernization Act, federal regulations mandate that the nationwide system be tested at least once every three years to ensure operational readiness.
The alert will be 1 minute in duration.
You will hear the standard EAS alert tones, and the transmitted message will state:
"This is a nationwide test of the Emergency Alert System, issued by the Federal Emergency Management Agency.
This is only a test. No action is required by the public." The message may broadcast in English, Spanish, or both.
There are NO western govts telling it's citizens to prepare for some type of global event. If some event were to occur they would.

That is where we get our internet. Not from fake space based satellite. Even the starlink satellites aren't actually in space but hovering hundreds of miles above our atmosphere.
But Starlink is the only current system not beholden to the fiber optic cables. However, it's much slower than fiber optic cables.
Undersea data cables are the backbone of global internet and communication systems.
Stretching thousands of miles across oceans, they connect continents and enable the seamless transmission of data, from emails and video calls to financial transactions and streaming services.
Over 95% of international data traffic flows through these cables.
Modern cables are fiber optic, meaning they use light pulses to send data incredible distances almost instantly.
These are preferred as they have low latency, which is the time it takes for data to move from one place to another.
CABLES UNDER ATTACK:
These cables are under attack.
Earlier this week, a Chinese ship damaged data cables in the Baltic Sea.
The high-speed fiber optic cable connecting Finland and Germany was severed in the Baltic Sea disrupted internet and communication services across Finland, Germany, Sweden, and Lithuania.
Russian vessels are near Irish waters, where transatlantic cables connect Europe to North America.

It's time to put safeguards in place and to not be reliant on the internet.
Starlink, sat-radios, Ham radios, home-based ham station network, SDR[software defined radio], mesh nodes[emcomms], home-based intranet network[An intranet is a private network that an organization uses to share information and resources].
Intranets are similar to the internet but are for private use and are restricted to a subset of users.
And link them all up to its own backup portable solar generators. It should be separate from your home generator unless you have a total full home generator like a Generac.
Those are the tools you need to add to your preps to prepare for the and survive the storm.

2 trains collide in deadliest train crash in Spain's history.
At least 64 people have been killed, and at least 50 more have been seriously injured after two high-speed trains collided on Wednesday at a station near Toledo, Spain.

Then, a train operated by the Spanish state rail company Renfe travelling at a high speed struck the stationary train. Cars from both trains then derailed and fell down an embankment.
Spain's Civil Guard said it had deployed specialized units to the scene, including a disaster response team, a drone team, and a forensic investigator.
Among the passengers on the train was former Popular Party labor minister Fátima Báñez. Her condition remains unknown.
The crash comes mere months after another high-speed train derailment in Spain on the same line in January killed 45 people and injured more 150 civilians.
