I finally had the custom shop fat 60’s put in. The guitar tech said it sounded fabulous and to let him know if I ever planned to sell. I’m taking it as a compliment. As a folk acoustic player I’ve got a tasty Strat

I’m hoping to test a long held belief of mine that if I stopped shopping and just ate what’s in my fridge and cupboards I could survive for a year.
Spent 75 quid on 3 cat beds and the only way I can get them near them is to empty half a bag of catnip on them. They are little caves, I thought cats like little caves! FFS
I’m ashamed to say I hadn’t discovered Richard Walters until Friday night. It’s even more shameful when I realised he has written with Alison. I got excited waiting for him to open when I saw he just had a semi acoustic (and the same one I have at home) He came on and played 5 songs that swept me away with the beauty of his voice.

I was away 2 nights this week and one or both of the cats put springs on my bed. This is sweet when you realise cats think we are off hunting when we leave, and my two carry these springs and meow like they have caught prey. They were bringing me food because they know I’m shite at Hunting 🥹
*they are not left alone, I have a trusted sitter
