Today at @blockfestafrica 2026, I had the opportunity to be part of the Founder Circle, and honestly, it was one of those rooms that reminds you why you chose to build.
I met with founders, builders, ecosystem leaders, and some VCs who shared valuable insights on fundraising, building sustainable companies, and what investors are really looking for from founders.
Those conversations matter.
As founders, sometimes we get so focused on building that we forget the importance of stepping back, listening, learning, and surrounding ourselves with people who have already walked the path.
One of the highlights for me was also meeting my mentor in person @SamuelXeus since 2021 and reconnecting with some of my mutuals and members of the wider Web3 ecosystem. It was great putting faces to some of the relationships and conversations weโve built online.
I was there representing @AstarterDefiHub as CTO, connecting with builders and projects around AI, DeFi and Web3 infrastructure.
At the same time, I am also the Founder of @RNSweb3Global with a bigger mission building opportunities and stronger bridges between African talent, Web3 ecosystems, founders, investors, and global opportunities.
The more rooms I enter, the more convinced I become:
Africa has the talent. What we need is the infrastructure, capital, connections, and platforms to unlock it at scale.
This is why I keep building.
