The CypherTalk interview with the team behind @quipnetwork gave a concrete attack model.
One quantum attack on a single key takes about 26 days.
It has roughly 50/50 odds of working.
On average, cracking one key takes about 52 days.
That changes who gets hit first.
A machine does not need to break every key.
It only needs to break the ones worth the wait, so the big holders come first.
Then comes a question I think people skip.
If Satoshi's coins moved tomorrow, would the market see the original owner coming back, or a cracked key?
Once the coins are moving, that is hard to prove.
So the threat is not one sudden global break.
It is a slow, targeted attack on the largest exposed balances.
Quip's answer is a quantum resistant signature requirement on the chains you already use.
The old key alone can no longer spend.

I used @tryquantio to investigate Ethereum across five areas in one research session. Here’s what I found.
◈ Market overview: ETH was around $2,308, struggling near key support.
◈ News: Spot ETH ETFs saw over $1B in monthly outflows, while BitMine continued accumulating ETH. Two opposing forces worth watching.
◈ Sentiment: The market outlook is mixed, with no strong sign of a clear recovery yet.
◈ Trading signals: ETH remains below key resistance around $2,390–$2,417. A breakout could change the outlook, but confirmation matters.
◈ Risk check: A drop below $2,220 could expose ETH to further losses.
◈ My verdict: I’m taking a wait-and-see approach. Institutional buying is encouraging, but ETF outflows and weak price action remain concerns. I’d want to see ETH hold support or break above resistance before reconsidering.
My biggest takeaway? Looking at price alone isn’t enough. Connecting news, sentiment, signals, and risks helped me understand the bigger picture.

RUNEPAD is building a way to launch meme coins on Solana and connect them to Bitcoin Runes, creating a link between two different blockchain ecosystems.
Here's how it works: tokens launch on Solana, then a corresponding Rune is etched on Bitcoin.
Users can burn their Solana tokens to trigger delivery of the equivalent Rune to a Bitcoin Taproot address.
The interesting part is the supply design. The Rune supply matches the original Solana token supply, and the project says every Bitcoin delivery must correspond to a verified token burn.
