$ETHBTC Daily close above the orange box around 0.02980 probably another 1-2 weeks of alt rotations before reaching a pivotal area. Potentially just a big range forming on ETHBTC for now unless we close below last weeks low which would get ugly for alts.
A simple view of the market through 2 charts: BTC.D and USDT.D BTC.D pushing up continues to put pressure on alts. A weekly close clearing above 61.2% we can safely safe "alt season" stays on pause while capital flows back to BTC and if USDT.D doesn't break to the upside then probably more sideways action for BTC in the near term. Otherwise a weekly close below 60.4% with USDT.D dropping we can continue the alt rotations in a probable sideways BTC market. Looking at these charts we can see why the market has been in hard mode for alts unless you've been catching the daily hot narratives. Either way opportunity is present on both sides depending which way gets confirmed. Seeing a lot of flip flop biases on the timeline and traders getting trapped on both ends. Intra-day traders market until proven otherwise.

Obvious in hindsight
Looks like there’s more reasons to be long than not from here. To name a few: - BTC CME gap almost closed (maybe front ran) - Tariffs getting priced in - DXY at a local resistance level with S&P starting to trend up from the low earlier today after a huge sell off - Timeline in shambles making price predictions lower (works same way at the top) - RSI oversold (for added confluence) - Hovering around $80k (round number bias) - Alts stopped dropping hard while BTC nuked (sellers run out?) - Fear and Greed chilling in “extreme fear” for a few days - McDonald application jokes doing rounds in group chats … If these are not reasons to entertain the long side even for a short term then it really is time to pack it in for a while. Staying optimistic

This tweet continues to haunt me from my lack of patience in what was otherwise conviction at the time. 0.62c -> $3 Coulda, woulda, shoulda, hada… Won’t second guess myself the next time I spend time to write a tweet like this.
I believe $XRP has a chance to be one of the most unexpected, explosive moving coins ever. The hated rally's of hated rally's... That's a bold statement but here's reasons to believe that it could be possible this cycle: - 6 year consolidation: From 2018 high to 2020 low it has been consolidating for 6 YEARS (6 years in crypto in like 100 years irl) - SEC clearance: Not quite in the clear but winning the law suit to not be deemed a security means a previous suppression of price (the lawsuit) is no longer looming like it was in the previous cycle, giving more confidence to buyers - Larry Fink was asked about the possibility of an XRP ETF at some point and his "no comment" response and smirk said it all (not ruling it out at least) but being clear from the security law suit certainly gives XRP a clearer journey to an ETF than most alt coins. ETF application = Institutional inflows to a magnitude far greater than ever (look at BTC and ETH as examples) - Possible IPO: If Ripple do go down the IPO route then the doors open for a LOT more institutional and retail investors and general buyer confidence - Previous top 3 coin: The mindshare of XRP dates back to 2017 and earlier, that's a long time of still having relevance in the market and given previous cycles lack of sustained performance it sets it up for an even bigger move when the time comes - XRPBTC / XRPETH: Both charts look to have bottomed meaning that XRP returns should be greater in the coming weeks than their respective pairs. Interestingly XRPBTC would have formed a higher low on the weekly time frame from the 2020 low and locked in another higher low dating back to 2014 - LTF divergences: We can see some divergences on XRPBTC lower time frames adding further confluence to believe the bottom is formed and upside awaits - The most hated rally ever: A breakout from this current multi-year range has the potential to be the most violent of any alt. Typical price action of XRP; long painful periods of mediocre price action followed by up-only pumps that defy logic, yet make sense on a higher time frame. 700+% moves in a month. Previous cycle holders would hate to see the inevitable move that finally happens after years of waiting and holders would hold for much higher prices than they've seen before - Cult community: One thing I keep learning is you never fade a cult community in crypto and XRP holders are nothing short of one of the most cultish communities I've seen dating back through the history of crypto Imo if we see a Blackrock XRP ETF application price teleports to fresh highs. I'll be targeting $5 for a cycle high (monthly price close below 0.45c invalidates this entire thesis for me)... Might sound delusional and unreasonable based on the current market cap but I'll rule nothing out of possible from what I've seen already in this cycle and its just getting started On the flip side this could just be another long non-existent fake-hope period for XRP which bleeds more people out the longer a move takes to play out, not to mention the opportunity cost of holding lagging alts during a bull run That being said I'm putting my money where my conviction and thesis is and will revisit this later and see if any of the ideas presented here play out

Right on the idea, completely wrong on the timing. This $XRP thesis is currently playing out but I both, got stopped out of my leverage long and rotated out of my spot bags during the summer chop. Seemed crazy to predict a $5 target but given all the bullish news and BTC edging to $100k it doesn’t seem to crazy now. Lesson in this to stick to your thesis even if the time horizon is off by several months.

Happy $BTC all time every day to the crypto believers. This has been my first bear > bull market after a late arrival at the end of last cycle and more then anything I'm pleased of how in sync I got with the markets in the past few months. One of the biggest lessons was focusing on myself throughout this period. Using TA across multiple macro charts (like OTHERS above): TOTAL3, TOTAL2, OTHERS, USDT.D, SPX, DXY to decide where and when I want to be allocating again. I put my money where my mouth is and whatever I posted here I was acting in alignment with that bias and belief. So right now after a rocky several months I feel well position in spot with 100% allocated to markets I want to ride and a side portfolio of capital strictly for perps trading to add some leverage to positions and eventually hedge when we get some local tops forming or levels I'd want to derisk positions. For the most part I need to get out the scalp mindset I adopted through summer until now and embrace the swing strategy that a bull market rewards most. Last November when we started bullish conditions I caught some great moves but both sizing and targets were off. Now I've isolated a small handful of core positions and have targets way higher than my bear market ptsd self. Current main spot holdings: SOL, TAO, ONDO, SUPER, NEIRO, POPCAT and GOAT. The general consensus seems to be to sell before Trump inauguration on January 20th 2025 (I have marked my calendar with a 2 week reminder before the event). Between now and then my plan is to stay bullish bias, hold my spot positions, be patient for pull backs to take perp longs and stick to this plan. Trump going into office being a possible "sell the news" event after retail have pilled in seems logical given that most retail buyers now will feel like a genius for buying and seeing price going higher, and we all know markets have a way of humbling us all when we get euphoric. I need re-map out these HTF charts for possible targets and areas I'd want to be cautious but I think having an approx timeline (late December) helps zero in on a time when to ease off the gas. Until then its game on bull frenzy and when BTC finally chills and pulls back that will be the next best alt buying opportunity for this bull phase however long it may last. Congrats to all the believers. It was never easy to get here but if you've stuck it out then you deserve all the success that comes next. Just make sure you have a plan and a goal (I didn't last time round) and remind yourself weekly to not get caught up in the bull euphoria. More updates coming soon but for now hold on strong and slow down, especially if you feel fomo. There will be time to get on the train but be patient. Good times ahead for for bulls.
We went from bullish ATH calling last week to it’s all over if $60k doesn’t hold on BTC. This was the pull back I was waiting for to allocate to spot positions and yesterday the alt market looked way offside and extended to the downside with weekly retests and forming (formed) the lows of October. The war fud is concerning from a macro and geopolitical pov but history has shown these can lead to panic in markets and over reactions. On the flip side nothing has changed with the Fed pivot and rate cuts, China printing money to stimulate their economy and generally speaking, we’re coming out of tighter monetary policy. I doubt the road to $100k will be smooth but it certainly feels like a logical time to be allocated especially looking at seasonality + election season around the corner.

You can always feel when we’re reaching local toppish points when the elite traders quiet down on the vocal bullish bias and the moon boys get louder on X

It’s a powerful feeling when you turn off the noise and tune into your inner dialogue. Nobody has the right answer or absolute certainty so you might as well build it in yourself and trust your intuition.
