Get Ready for the Weft v2 Lenders Incentive Program!
We are excited to announce the launch of the Weft v2 Lenders Incentive Program! Snapshots will begin on December 1, 2024, with distributions starting the following day, December 2, 2024.
This program features a 6M $WEFT allocation and will run until December 31, 2025.
Key Details:
Eligible Assets:
$XRD, $USDC, and $USDT
Deposit Weighting:
Deposits in $USDC and $USDT will count as 3x compared to $XRD.
Minimum Deposit:
A minimum deposit of $50 (equivalent asset value) is required to participate.
Please note that the program’s details and conditions are subject to change during its duration. We are committed to ensuring transparency and will communicate any updates promptly.
The $WEFT Staking Boost will conclude on November 30, 2024. This marks a key milestone in $WEFT’s journey, as lending fees will now be distributed to stakers, further enhancing $WEFT’s utility.

Hyperscale is back! 269k TPS during an internal test. A new record!
Rewriting the test scripts to multi-threading, to make use of fewer but more powerful nodes sending transactions, seems to be a good approach on AWS.
This is also the first time we moved beyond 40 shards, which opens the road to 500k TPS 🫡
The move from Hetzner to AWS was unexpected and led to some delays; however, I made significant progress in the last week.
Next up is a new private test to confirm this set up with a larger group of nodes 🦾

In DeFi looping, your profit depends on rate differentials: earning supply APY on your collateral while paying borrow APY on your debt.
Looping only works when supply rates, incentives, or asset appreciation offset those borrowing costs.
