Starlink connectivity at speeds of up to 160 km/h is being restored.
Removing Starshield’s speed limit entirely is now critical for Ukraine’s defense.
Thank you, @elonmusk. We hope for your continued support.

One of the most important actions we can take for deterrence is for the Pentagon to follow President Trump’s orders to return the 5,000 troops back to Poland and the Baltics. This is deterrence. The Pentagon has dragged its feet for 3 months on this.

37 years ago, 🇱🇹🇱🇻🇪🇪 people joined hands in a historic human chain linking Vilnius, Riga & Tallinn.
Today, as we recreated the Baltic Way in D.C., we honored the victims of totalitarian and authoritarian regimes and reaffirmed our solidarity with 🇺🇦 on its 35th Independence Day.

Combined with the rumored $100,000 fee on Optional Practical Training (OPT), the federal government will soon be taxing the typical international student-to-green-card holder journey at $203,000 (and counting).
Massive taxes on the highest-skilled portion of our system.

Estonians have an expression: Kui juba, siis juba.
Basically: If we’re gonna do something, let’s really do it.
So here’s BadBaltic.com
This snarky Twitter account is now also an online magazine.
From there, you can find our accounts on other platforms too.
Our goal is to bring together contributors from across the Baltic countries to scale a distinct style of satirical journalism with a Baltic outlook on the world.
(Yes, we will expand beyond our glaringly obvious Estonian slant. 🙂)
We want to help people learn a bit more about these three countries we love and we also want to support a better rules-based world of sovereign nations for everyone
…and also a world in which we can still laugh at absurdities.
It is objectively hilarious that Seymour Hersh used “poor waif in his underwear” in a quote from a supposedly American anonymous source and we will never back down on that position.
In an increasingly absurd world, our work is just getting started.
Thank you for the encouragement for this whole project from friends and followers and people with genuinely good takes, including @IlvesToomas, @GLandsbergis, @edwardlucas, @Pabriks, and @EerikNKross.
Kui juba, siis juba.

Just not good enough. In trouble literally from the 1st minute. A clear regression from our first 4 matches. I think/hope the WC is still a substantial net positive for US soccer, but we have to aim higher.

MLS should take advantage of a successful World Cup by:
- Merging with USL
- Ending the common ownership aspects of the league
- Adopting pro/rel, with parachute payments to get current franchise owners on board
- Eliminating the salary cap so that clubs can buy the best players
Let American capitalism make it the best league in the world.

Today is a big day for us.
After years of work, countless iterations, and a mission that started with my own experience being affected by environmental toxins, we’re officially launching Moldmap on Product Hunt.
Moldmap helps people find healthier hotels, apartments, vacation rentals, and homes by bringing together environmental data, AI, and community knowledge—making it easier to avoid mold and other indoor environmental concerns.
If you have a minute today, we’d be incredibly grateful for your support. It really helps us reach more people and gives this launch momentum.
Please consider sharing and/or interacting on our launch page.
Thank you to everyone who’s supported our journey so far.

The $100k H-1B entry fee was just declared unlawful and vacated by a federal judge.
This has huge implications for the effects of the new Weighted Lottery.
While the fee was in place, it only applied to people outside the country, which meant student retention was up since it didn’t apply to them.
Without the $100k fee, the outsourcers will come flooding back into the H1B program, helped by the new Weighted Lottery.
That’s because the weighted lottery rewards seniority within an occupation (which the outsourcers do well at) but not higher salaries.
DHS needs to move to a compensation-based system before next year’s lottery to stop this from happening.
