The Liberal Democrats have outlined our plans on how to tackle the threats from Russia.
We need to expand UK shipbuilding, with six new Royal Navy frigates and four new British shipyards to face down future threats.
These people have no shame. They mask themselves as patriots and advocates for law and order, all the while leaders of theirs sit on Kremlin paycheques and get locked up for criminal offences.
The United Kingdom has an unconditional right to defend itself.

Hilarious to see ‘the left’, as Chris describes it here, continue to debate whether having strong financial services is necessary for a modern Western economy. Then again, Welsh Labour did admit to having no idea on the economy when they were last in Government…. 🥀
Really thought provoking when this article begins to talk about the lack of financial services in Wales.
Edinburgh & London are notable FS capitals, but probably because they actually have/had a central bank for these kinds of businesses to emerge.
As taboo as this is is to say on the left, private capital is still required for the underlying economy to work and flourish by accessing lending and borrowing facilities.
"Does this matter? Does it materially damage Welsh business culture? It’s hard to prove a negative, but I’d argue that the absence of a native banking sector militates against a domestic financial and entrepreneurial culture."
Hmm. Something in that and something worth exploring.

Labour, the Conservatives and Reform decided to not back British Farming last night in Parliament.
The Liberal Democrats will keep fighting for farmers and pushing for the support our rural communities deserve.
The Senedd cannot legislate on policing and public order, which is essentially what a general face-covering ban falls under.
In true Reform fashion, they’ve wasted Senedd time rage-baiting Plaid and Labour for clicks. Both need to stop playing to Reform’s tune.

I’m sorry to read that Richard Tice’s commute to Parliament from Dubai is proving so difficult.
British Airways is an embarrassing disgrace of an airline @British_Airways
Routinely selling many more tickets than seats, putting lots of passengers on standby who bought tickets months ago, a woeful customer attitude of ‘shrug shrug, not my job’ 🤷♂️
Then not sending the luggage of standby passengers: one case may arrive on next flight an hour later, 1 case shrug shrug wait until tomorrow afternoon when it may or may not arrive 🤷♂️

- telling us nothing can be done about it
