Niki Sharma once lamented the “unbearable whiteness” of election results.
Now Vancouver-Hastings has re-elected her.
Imagine the outrage if a politician publicly complained about the “unbearable” presence of any other race in elected office.

One BC for Everyone. 💛💙🤍
I’m running to represent West Vancouver–Capilano because British Columbians deserve better: restored prosperity, lower taxes, and a government that actually respects our rights.
That means repealing DRIPA, defending property rights, and protecting parental rights. No more policies that undermine families, homeowners, and economic opportunity.
It’s time to put people first again.
If you believe BC can be freer, more prosperous, and more accountable, I’d be grateful for your support. Let’s get it done.

Notice how he repeatedly says “we,” “us,” and “our.”
It’s time for transparency, accountability, and answers from the BC Conservative leadership.

Someone should tell BC NDP @NikiSharma2 that she's trending for being a raging racist.
This is supposed to be the BC Attorney General!
If @Dave_Eby doesn't fire her, he agrees with her blatant racism. That's how it works, right?! We didn't make the rules.

Never forget how racist @NikiSharma2 is.
She hates the people of British Columbia that don’t look like her.
Needles Drugs Poverty party that is the NDP is a party of racism.

OneBC comes out hard against mass migration promising to get British Columbia Quebec style immigration controls.
- Criminals and illegals lose access to public money
- all new immigrants will need an in person interview and background check
- Province will expedite deportations by handling the cost of it
OneBC 2026 Election Statement on Immigration and Extremism
British Columbia, Canada and to an extent the wider Western world, are facing rising problems with mass migration and extremism that are changing our standard of living, our quality of life, and voters want accountability.
While the self-appointed intellectuals may snicker “This is a provincial election and immigration is a federal issue,” and no doubt the other political parties when asked about this issue will shrug their shoulders - or maybe mouth some vague words about cooperation with the federal government if they are brave - we disagree.
OneBC does not believe in deferred responsibility. If we go down this path, every issue that gets too big will be the responsibility of the federal government and any problem deemed minor will be dumped on municipal governments.
First, OneBC will make sure that British Columbia has the same provincial immigration controls that are exercised by Quebec. In this case Quebec is obviously right that the province should have more control about how many people come into their province and who exactly they are. OneBC will go one step further ensuring that any new immigrant coming to live in BC has to have an in-person interview and background check by a provincial officer.
Immigrants coming to live in the province should be able to speak English or French and be completely unaffiliated with extremist ideological movements like the IRGC, CCP, Hamas, Samidoun, Hezbollah, or Khalistan.
Second, at the start of the summer break in the legislature OneBC’s executive team created a task force to look into what can be done about illegal immigration the provincial end. While deporting all illegal immigrants may be the logical end conclusion of any immigration policy, the provincial government does not have deportation powers. We have determined that if OneBC is in the legislature and able to successfully apply pressure to the Attorney General and Auditor General we can effectively cut off all criminals and scammers from the public dollar with two good directives.
We will push the AG to do an immigration check on all criminal charges and any conviction of non-citizens will result in permanent loss of access to all public benefits. There will also be zero tolerance for all fraudsters. Anyone caught defrauding the public will also lose access to public money.
We will enable all public institutions to do immigration checks for anyone receiving public services. If you are receiving tax dollars, you should be a legal resident of this country.
While the ultimate power of removal lies with the federal government, a motivated and competent provincial government can set the conditions that make federal immigration enforcement a lot easier by provincially funding deportations.
This method of depriving public funds to harmful entities is the first step in a counter extremism approach that will bring British Columbia prosperity and restore normalcy. We have a bill ready to go that will deprive all institutions of public money if they publicly display and promote symbols of terrorism.
The “unified” party is starting to throw the social conservatives under the bus again.
Lorne and the BC Conservatives inner circle is pro-SOGI-123, that’s why they are so quick to join with the media and the BC NDP in attacking their own MLA for making an accurate criticism of SOGI.
OneBC is 100% anti-SOGI and would scrap it completely.

As you know, OneBC has decided to optimize the conservative movement. In a gesture of good will we were willing to avoid running candidates against real conservatives in tight ridings.
In response, not only was there no cooperation, but also the same corruption and backroom dealing that has derailed the province.
This is not acceptable behaviour, and as a result, we will be running two amazing candidates in North Island and in Kelowna Centre.
Despite everything that has happened and will happen, OneBC remains committed to defeating the NDP and the radical left.

Alexandra is an Ellison farmer with degrees in law and anthropology, a business background, and a small government streak that originally pulled her into politics.
In 2024, the BC Conservatives recruited her in Kelowna-Mission, then abruptly removed her, citing vague concerns about “performance and conduct.”
Wright disputed that explanation and said the party had been trying to move her to Vernon-Lumby to make room for Gavin Dew, even offering $20,000 in campaign funds if she agreed to switch ridings. She refused.
Now she’s back with OneBC in Kelowna–Lake Country–Coldstream.
And across from her is Pavneet Singh.
Singh originally won the BC United nomination in this exact riding in 2023. That contest became so ugly that another candidate formally challenged the result over voter eligibility and a surge of new memberships.
During the race, Singh openly defended recruiting foreign students into the nomination process because BC United’s rules allowed it.
Elections BC confirmed that foreign students were legally allowed to participate in party nomination contests.
Then BC United collapsed.
Singh moved into the BC Conservative machine, ran on the Team Rustad slate, won a board seat in 2025, and later became party vice-president during the 2026 leadership upheaval.
And when former Conservative MP Tracy Gray publicly put her hand up for this riding in September, the party still chose Singh.
Actually, Singh chose himself.
So this race is not some random OneBC protest candidacy.
It’s Alexandra Wright, who was pushed out of the BC Conservatives after refusing to be shuffled aside, versus a former BC United nominee who climbed straight into the BC Conservative executive and now holds one of the party’s most powerful internal positions.
If you want one riding that captures the entire argument over what the BC Conservative Party has become, this may be it.
Kelowna–Lake Country–Coldstream is going to be fascinating.
No more drugs on BC streets!
OneBC will take a tough approach to the rampant drug and addiction problems that are destroying our public spaces and people's lives.

With National Day for Truth and Reconciliation tomorrow, it’s important that Canadians know the facts.
In 2021, the Tk’emlúps te Secwépemc announced that ground-penetrating radar had identified 215 anomalies believed to be potential unmarked graves at the former Kamloops Indian Residential School.
As of September 2026, no human remains have been recovered or forensically confirmed at the site. No excavation has taken place despite money given to the nation for that cause.
Unlike the BC NDP, Conservatives and Greens, OneBC is actually running on DOING THINGS.
Cut Taxes 25%
