It’s still national ice cream month and today our middle/high school program kids are hanging out in Down Town Roanoke, beating the heat with snow cones.

On today’s #WestEndWalk our kids caught a show at the The Grandin Theatre then got greeted with free ice cream outside from the Freedom First Scoop Ice Cream Truck!

Old Fashioned Fun week at West End Center is coming to a close.
Here are a few of our kids out enjoying a good old fashioned hiking trip, led by Susan Kessler, one of our West End Center volunteers.
The rain isn’t dampening our fun today!
We loaded up our busses and turned our first “West End Walks” event of the summer into West End Rides. Today, our kids are watching Looney Tunes at the Grandin Theater. #roanoke
West End Center is back for the summer and our kids will be participating in theme weeks all summer long. The theme for this week is “old fashioned fun!”
Congratulations to our 2021 Graduates and all of our students for successfully completing what was undoubtedly one of the most challenging school years ever. This has been quite a year but you made it and West End Center is incredibly proud of you.

We’re busy shelving books at West End Center today.
Between books purchased from our Amazon wishlist, and dropped off in person at the Junior League of Roanoke Valley book drive, we have roughly 1000 new books for the kids at our center to enjoy!
