Coaching people makes me feel like I'm at my best. I've been away from it for six years, since the 2016 boys soccer season at Ravenna. Recently got back to coaching in a little venture I'll be talking more about soon. But, man, do I feel like I found that missing piece of me.

What happens when we live in a world where so much of the information flow is designed to make us feel afraid and threatened?
A deep dive into the psychology of fear on a societal level. This one is important:

2 years you’ve been gone -I wish you could see the Browns sitting at 5-2 right now. I can only imagine how excited you’d be, we miss you 🧡🤎
This is why it was always stupid to project next year's draft before a single college snap was taken.

I have greatly enjoyed watching America feel the same things I have felt about Vivek Ramaswamy since the fall of 2003

People who have been around politics a long time may be struck as I was by the sheriff's signature on this arrest warrant for Amy Acton's stepfather, who at the time was a fugitive. Does the name James Traficant ring a bell?

Vivek is embracing the ad.
Good.
Now spend the money to back it. $20M ad spend. Put it on every television in Ohio for the next 2 weeks.
Drown them with it. Outspend them.
Don’t let up till the moment the polls close.
Readers added context they thought people might want to know
Court records corroborate that Amy Acton's stepfather was charged and indicted in 1978 for raping her as a child, after which she and her brother were removed from their mother's custody.

“She won’t debate me so I had no choice but to platform the woman who stayed married to her daughter’s rapist.”
Thanks, Conman. That will be enough. You can fuck off to Texas forever you nasty little fink.
Vivek Ramaswamy just told reporters, "It is an ad from our campaign, and the thing that I want to say is that I would love for this race and this election to be about the substantive issues that impact Ohioans, and unfortunately, Amy Acton has been hiding from those issues. She won't debate me."
He later said Acton's mother was not compensated.

THE PRESTIGE was released 20 years ago. Regarded as one of Christopher Nolan’s most underrated films, the move features and all-star cast and its making of story is full of misdirection and magic…

I just wanted to take a moment to say how grateful I am.
Following Cleveland baseball has been a part of my life since I was a kid watching the 90s teams with my dad.
Going through the highs and lows with all of you every year is a privilege, and one I don’t take for granted.
In retrospect I wonder if just going Bibee/Cantillo/Slade/Festa in Game 4 was the play.
Still, if you don't hit, it doesn't matter.
Ultimately, we did get better offensively at the deadline. But we were adding to a historically bad offense. Whatever happens going forward, it can't be just trotting out that offense, with that approach, with just another vet or two and Ralphy added to the team.

I can't help but laugh about that.
Caminero trade never bothered me much, but I have always hated the Yandy trade from day one and kinda feel like we deserve it when he sticks it to us
Of course.
The irony of this Yandy Diaz wins ALCS MVP the two championship series most valuable players will be Diaz and Jake Bauers. #GuardsBall
