You transfer your debit money to basically Visa gift cards?
Nobody thinks this. We're just deciding not to throw free money away while building credit and receiving better fraud protection.
With autopay it's really as simple as this: Do you live within your means? Do you want a 2-5% discount on all of your regular purchases? Yes? Done.
I was taught (like many here) to stay away from credit cards as if they were poison, which is why I was shocked in my late 20s to discover, despite 'never having used those awful credit cards,' that I had an absolutely terrible credit score.
By all means, participate begrudgingly. Call yourself a creditcel or debtcuck or whatever. But don't let ideology stop you from participating altogether. It's not going to sound very compelling to your wife when you're trying to explain why you got denied for a car loan.
Thickwit doesn't understand how credit cards. I made $2k by doing nothing. Literally just paying bills and buying groceries and setting CC to auto-pay. To him, this means I went $100k into debt or something? lmao
It's crazy how discourse on here anymore is just grifters posting stuff like "[innocuous show/artist/song] is such an evil show. Like truly." and then we get a week of people just hollering at each other nonstop because of what some monetized tumblr-trained bot said.
On relatively thin Ice because I couldn't stop saying "Digger dug us into this mess and Digger's gonna dig us out" last night.
I'm confused, do people think Lindsey Ellis is some kind of socialist firebrand? She's talking about karaoke and snorkeling. Almost all of her points pertain to the customer experience. She clearly loves cruises and is weighing which ones are run well in that regard.
Cancel culture is real but only if it involves cringe music or people getting tired of you or whatever
So much vitriol and discourse, you have to scroll a LONG way before you find another clip from Netflix with this many views. What lessons do you think they'll take away from this, I wonder?
My Thinkpad can run a surprising amount of triple-A games from up until about 2014 or so. It's surreal being locked into this era where everything still feels aspirational. The medium, I mean. A time of "Wow this stuff is great and only going to get better? Amazing!" If only.
Youtube family who realizes they can capture a large American audience after doing a Skittles taste test video and inevitably within a year they're in hell watching 20 minute videos about the A-10 Warthog.
Pretty sure Google Analytics is the only product I've ever used for 10+ years where, during that time, I've gotten worse at using it.
Occasionally I'll think back to some of the people I knew in the '90s who'd go off on things like fluoride in the tap water and aliens and I wonder how they're holding up

That's because one involves a contact lens and the other involves a kid taking estrogen, testosterone blockers and puberty blockers during a time of crucial developmental. Do you think those two things have the same, or even remotely similar, stakes?
