I respect Richard for holding himself accountable, it feels like a rarity in this era of Xitter where people will excuse nearly any horrible behavior as a “joke”. I was just reading The Screwtape Letters earlier and I’m reminded of this passage in it:

As most of you know, myself and many other Jewish people online regularly experience antisemitic rhetoric, and whenever we push back, we are brutally mobbed and attacked
For some of us, making Jewish jokes is a trauma response so we will not be seen as “uncool” or “too sensitive” but that doesn’t excuse unbiblical behavior or tasteless jokes

Here are some of mine. I remember all of these albums soundtracking many car rides during my first ten years of life, and I still love each one today. Bet you can’t tell which half are from my Dad & which are from Mom xD.
Interesting that the liberal stereotype pastors are the ones actually putting their asses on the line for real world justice. Looks really don’t determine content of character.

Most of the greatest albums weren’t created by one incredibly smart visionary who everyone around them gave in to, rather a group pitching a plethora of (often conflicting) ideas and a producer smart enough to arrange them into something cohesive. That is creation in action.
