Election day is less than 2 weeks away. The closer it gets, the more hate mail I get.
Vote your conscience, vote to reform the system, vote for people that recognize the people that aren't being heard.
We don't need to agree on everything. We just want a future where our money is worth something, where we aren't sending our sons and daughters to die in forever wars, and where there is no political caste system.
They should be more afraid of us, than us of them. It's time to take our future back.

I got the hear Rebecca's story and learn about her family. She's an everyday hero that I look up to.
My name is Rebecca Whiting. I am a Christian, a wife, and a mom to a large family. We live in Bemidji, Minnesota on a farm we have built from the ground up. I am a homeschooling mom, and a small business owner. I have been involved with farmers markets and the community for most of my adult life.
I am also an Army combat veteran who saw two tours to Iraq as a medic in 2004- 05, then again in 2006-07. I was in Ramadi during the battle for Fallujah, and then in Baghdad during the Surge with 2ID, 2BCT. My experience in Iraq was one of heartache, grief, futility, and trauma. As a medic I saw the worst and came home to a system more broken than I was.
I’ve watched as my fellow soldiers were killed in a war we never should have fought. I’ve watched as my fellow soldiers committed suicide at a rate greater than the casualties we inflicted during the Iraq war. I’ve watched as my fellow soldiers (including my husband) have started to get new cancers and diseases from burn pit exposure. And I’ve watched as we tried to navigate the failed VA system that ended up hurting vets instead of helping them. I couldn’t watch anymore. Now is not the time to be complacent, and this is not the legacy I want to leave my children.
I love my family, and I love my country. I sacrificed for this country, and its people, because of my love. It’s that same love that drives me now. The political oligarchy has failed us, and I can’t sit back and watch anymore.
I am running for the U.S. Senate. It’s time to send those who would enslave us to the failed system that they created to maintain their political monopoly a message.
The people are free. And we are going to take our future back.

Yesterday on The White House Podcast, hosted by @RoyceWhite and co-host @profpennpodcast, Rebecca Whiting, the Libertarian candidate for U.S. Senate, made her position on endless wars plain.
She'd close the overseas bases and bring our service members home!
She also pointed out that Americans can't even see what it costs to keep all of it running overseas, because that line item is classified.
Rebecca served two tours in Iraq as an Army combat medic. She knows what these wars cost, and she's running to end them.

Today at NOON, MPR is hosting a U.S. Senate debate but only the two major-party nominees are on stage.
Peggy Flanagan (D) and Michele Tafoya (R) will debate. Rebecca Whiting (L) and the other candidates who qualified for the ballot are left outside!
If a candidate earned a spot on the ballot, voters should not be barred from hearing their viewpoint!
The Libertarian Party of Minnesota will be there around noon to promote breaking down the barriers that keep different ideas from reaching the public.

Your grocery bill and gas pump are telling you the truth that the major parties won’t!
Two things are making everyday life less affordable for Minnesotans and Rebecca Whiting is running to address both.
1. Destruction of the dollar
Endless spending and continual money printing devalue every paycheck. When the dollar buys less, the same grocery cart and tank of gas cost more!
Solutions she has called for:
- End the Fed and dismantle the central banks
- Stop the continual printing of money
- Balance the federal budget
- Tie the hands of the federal government on spending
2. Regulatory capture
Corporations petition the political oligarchy for regulations that raise costs and lock out small producers and family farms. Those rules make it harder and more expensive to grow and sell food locally!
Solutions she has called for:
- Deregulate so small businesses and family farms can thrive
- Cut regulatory burdens on small producers
- Support regenerative practices, beef producers, and small family farms
- Expand direct farm-to-consumer sales and cottage food opportunities
Together they hit the kitchen table: a weaker dollar plus higher production costs means Minnesotans pay more for the basics!
Her plan is not another band-aid program that's price tag expands year after year. It is to address the root problem by protecting the value of money and getting the government out of the way of the farmers and producers who feed us.

Look, I know some boomers are #taxationistheft but the problem here is that a country $40T is debt doesn't have the financial resources to continue business as normal. And how dismissive is it to ignore the struggles of the younger generations that have been caused by the policies of the older generations?
No one has ever taxed themselves into prosperity.
The US takes in $5T in tax revenue annually, but spends $7T+ annually.
It doesnt take a genius to see why the national debt is almost $41T.
The GWOT cost US taxpayers upwards of $10T
They have no plan to fix that. Their only plan is to keep printing money which means your money is worth less daily. That's rapid inflation.
Iran doesn't have to beat the US militarily, they just have to push our economy over the edge.
At this rate, we won't be able to stop an economic collapse. Anyone telling you otherwise is being dishonest.
What needs to happen?
- Balance the budget. Cut $3T worth of spending ANNUALLY. The last time the budget was balanced was during a Clinton presidency.
- Pull all our military troops, bases, and assets back home.
- Abolish major federal agencies and let the military that's now home instead of fighting useless wars overseas take over management. ATF, IRS, DHS, CIA, EPA to name a few.
- End all tariffs.
- End all foreign aid. A country that's on the verge of economic collapse cannot help countries who are also struggling.
When the US economy goes, it will have a devastating global ripple effect. And our fragile grid here will be shut down.
What can you do now? Hoard skills. Learn how to help yourself first- water collection, gardening, basic skills your great grandparents did normally.
We may not be able to fully stop what is already in motion, but we can set the stage for what's next.
And what's next MUST put the freedom and natural rights of the individual first.

@peggyflanagan keeps saying she doesn't take PAC money, but one look at her FEC records proves that's a lie.
She believes people are too dumb to go look themselves.
FEC records are public BTW.
I take no PAC money.
No foreign lobby money.
No AIPAC money.
My principles are uncompromised.
Not once have I ever sold my principles for a dollar.
What we need in federal politics is an uncompromising movement to reform a compromised system.
If we hit 8% of the vote in this race, the Libertarian Party of Minnesota has access to every ballot across the state without barriers. There are 20+ districts that @mngop didn't even offer a candidate for the ballot while also restricting the @LPofMN access to those ballots.
That's not the sign of a political party that is committed to the freedoms of Minnesotans. That's the sign of a party that is committed to protecting the illusion of choice at the expense of Minnesotans.
A vote for my campaign is a belief that the two party system is an enemy of the people and that while a peaceful option still exists through voting to reform a broken system, we must utilize it.

The question was posed- do I take foreign donations?
Unequivocally no. I don't even fundraise. I have never taken a single penny for myself. Our campaign is run 100% on volunteer time and old fashioned organic organizing.
That's intentional.
Money makes people compromise. Something which I refuse to do.
-Register AIPAC as a foreign agent.
-Get the Israel lobby out of DC.
-Stop fighting wars on Israel's behalf.
If there is still a way to do this through voting, to reform a lost political system, we have to do it right. There is no room for error.
No compromise.
