Today’s lesson: DEACCELERATION 🧪
At Wideout Tech, we teach receivers how to:
✔️ Reduce speed efficiently
✔️ Control body mechanics
✔️ Transition through breakpoints
✔️ Re-accelerate with intent
Game speed isn’t reckless movement.
It’s controlled movement.
The details most athletes ignore are usually the details that create separation.
More than coaching.
It’s a standard.

Everyone making fun of Tyler Conklin for these routes, but they've been working vs. NFL LBs on third down for the last 5 years

OU's newest playmaker, twitchy Purdue transfer WR Deion Burks, was held to six receptions for only 36 yards last week but three of those catches were TDs. Trust us, Sooner fans...Burks is one of most dynamic openfield wideouts in '24 NFL Draft, not a red-zone guy.

Here's what @OU_Football fans can expect from "Portal Prospect" Deion Burks. Needless to say, this was a 𝙗𝙞𝙜-𝙩𝙞𝙢𝙚 pickup for Sooners.
🔥 Far more talented than stats suggest (47-629-7)
🔥 High-end athleticism jumps off tape
🔥Slot-sized electric playmaker that has speed to play outside
🔥 Immediate gear to pull-away when hit in-stride
🔥 Similar to former Arizona WR, @seniorbowl alum & Niners rookie Jacob Cowing
