Winner "Orange Diablo" Monday at Canterbury Park. Also, the new Mystic Lake Amphitheater's grass is the greenest it will ever be.
I first met Jessi Pierce last summer after I had set up a media day golf event for The Club at Golden Valley. When she arrived, the news had just broken that Tarasenko had been signed. She golfed and then got to work in the clubhouse sending out her thoughts.
I miss her and it couples with the fact the last time I talked to her was on March 19, which was the day in 2015 that my brother killed himself. Jessi and her kids were gone two days later.
I guess I'm just having a hard time right with it all right now.
11 years ago and yesterday. My son is the little one in the left photo and on the right (now 6'3" lol).
This first photo was 4 months after my brother killed himself. We put a few ashes of his in the flower bed.
They took the flowers away for a while. Glad they're back.
Skubal's ERA went from 0.52 to 2.55 in the last 15 minutes.

We are heartbroken by the loss of Jessi Pierce and her three children.
Jessi was an exceptional journalist and a defining voice in Minnesota hockey, widely respected for her coverage of the MN Wild and her ability to make the sport feel accessible, dynamic, and deeply human.
