The Conversion Practices Bill could reverse everything we've achieved to protect women and children over the last decade. Helen Joyce explains why here: thehelenjoyce.com/p/terf-isl… It's important that we all understand what the draft law says and what the consequences will be. @SexMattersOrg has published 21 scenarios which could lead to criminal investigation/conviction here: sex-matters.org/posts/public… (table of contents pictured). Helen writes: "If you live in the UK, and after reading the scenarios you realise that this law might catch you — at home, at work or in your social life — submit written evidence to the committee explaining this." and "If you live abroad in a jurisdiction where there is already a conversion-practices ban and have experience of the chilling effect or other harmful impacts, you could also submit evidence responding to Question 4 and nothing else." You can do this here: sex-matters.org/take-action/… And we should all make a concerted effort to do so. This is one of the most dangerous pieces of potential legislation in this area we've seen so far. It's clear that lawmakers don't understand why, so we need to tell them at every opportunity. This bill is self-ID by the back door. It must be stopped.

If you want to complain about this ghastly man - lecturer Matt Rattley of Oxford University - here is where to send your email: Professor Dame Springman, and her email address is: [email protected]
“We expect everyone involved in teaching to maintain appropriate professional standards and to treat students with respect.” That was Oxford University's response when [Un]Captured asked about a male tutor wearing giant prosthetic breasts to work. Biochemistry lecturer Matt Rattley has kicked off the autumn term with new photos wearing his infamous ‘norks’ - including one in a lecture theatre with students. The university declined to discuss individual personnel matters. Full story at [Un]Captured 👇

In 1707 Scotland didn't just lose a Parliament. It lost the sovereign institutions through which a very different constitutional tradition had developed - one in which rulers were created for the community, bound by law, and could lose their authority if they broke its fundamental conditions. That tradition didn't disappear. It was cut off from its independent institutional development, and much of its history was subsequently buried beneath a very different story of parliamentary sovereignty. Tomorrow (28 October) on Substack: George Buchanan and the Constitution Scotland Lost What Scottish popular sovereignty actually meant - and what was interrupted in 1707.

And still the decent people of these Isles kneel before villains - incredible.
The year is 1087. The king's forester rides up to the door. The deer in the wood are the king's now, and a man caught with venison in his pot is blinded for it. Your father ate deer. You will eat oats. The year is 1217. The king's men come every third year with a block, a chisel and a mallet. Your dog's forefoot goes on the block and three claws come off at one blow, so he can never again run down a stag. The fine for a dog with his feet intact is three shillings, a month of your labour. The law never says you may not eat meat. It only takes the dog's toes. The year is 1400. The priest comes every spring. For 40 days there is no meat, no butter, no milk, no eggs, and with the year's other fasts the Church takes about 150 days of flesh off your table. It is for your soul. The bishop keeps his capons. The year is 1649. You put your cow on the common, because the grass grows for nobody. The gentlemen ride up the hill with clubs and beat her until she is not expected to live. A poor man with a cow does not need a landlord. That was the offence. The year is 1666. Parliament declares Irish cattle a common nuisance and bars them from England. The herds that fed an island for 2,000 years go for salt beef, and the island goes onto the potato. In 1847 the ships still leave Cork with butter and bacon under armed guard, past the people dying on the quay. The year is 1915. The professors come with a calculation. The pig eats food fit for people, so the pig must go. Millions are slaughtered in a season. Then there is no pork, no lard, no manure for the fields, and around 750,000 civilians starve in the winter remembered by the turnip. The year is 1940. The man at the door has a ration book. Meat is bought by the shilling, and it stays rationed until 1954, nine years after the war ends. It is for the nation. The restaurants of Mayfair were never on the book. The year is 1961. A professor is on the cover of Time. The doctor tells you the fat on your meat is clogging your arteries, and the butter must go for the oil. The study has 6 countries in it. 22 were available. The year is 1977. A Senate committee issues the country with a diet, the first government on earth to do it. Less meat and fat, more grain. The obesity line, flat for 50 years, turns upward within the decade. The year is 1992. A pyramid arrives in every classroom, 6 to 11 servings of bread at the base and the meat squeezed up near the point. The woman who drew the first draft had put the grain at 2 to 4. The Secretary's office changed it. The year is 2015. The World Health Organization puts your bacon in the same cancer category as tobacco. The spinach carries 100 times the nitrate and no label. The year is 2019. A commission funded by a billionaire publishes a diet for the planet. Red meat: 14 grams a day. Half a rasher. The members fly in to announce it. The year is 2026. The man at the door carries no chisel, no ration book, no map. He carries a carbon target. The cattle on the hill are to be culled for the climate, the farm taxed on death until it sells, and you are asked to give up meat for the good of everyone, by people who have never gone a week without it. The deer were the king's. The cow was the lord's. The fast was God's. The fat was the heart's. The planet is the latest owner of your dinner. A thousand years, and the reason has changed every century. The plate never has. Nobody has ever banned meat for the common man. They just come to the door every generation with a very good reason, and take three claws at a time.

"But those same Unionist politicians know that calling a second referendum would lead to independence." This is just wrong! Horribly wrong! The whole article is about how the British state can attach whatever conditions it likes to whatever kind of referendum it might deign to grant us. If they have that degree of control, why would they give us a referendum that "would lead to independence"? Here's one of the hard truths that the independence movement must accept if Scotland's cause is to make any progress. Westminster cannot authorise anything which might place the Union in jeopardy. Therefore, the only sensible conclusion must be that any referendum which the British state might give us would NOT lead to independence. The Section 30 process isn't a 'legal and constitutional' escape route. It is a trap. England-as-Britain didn't build a global empire by affording its seized territories an easy way out. John Swinney concedes to Westminster a veto over the will of Scotland's people. Am I the only one who sees what's wrong with this? The de facto leader of Scotland's independence movement accedes to the alien doctrine of parliamentary sovereignty, denying the principle that the people of Scotland are sovereign. Doesn't anybody else consider it wrong that the supposed leader of the fight to restore Scotland's independence meekly accepts the British state's authority to thwart that aspiration at every turn? Does anybody out there understand what a proper constitutional referendum looks like? Does anybody out there understand the difference between a proper constitutional referendum and a referendum held under transferred powers? In a proper constitutional referendum, the people's decision is final. In a Section 30 referendum, Westminster must always have the final say. thenational.scot/news/266757… #EndTheUnion #ScottishUDI

Imagine you are a dental hygienist and live in Sweden.. You are employed to help “migrant children” with their dental issues. As part of your job you examine the wisdom teeth development of the kids and you notice that 80% of those “kids” have fully formed wisdom teeth, implying they are not kids at all but adults older than the age of 18. You tell the Swedish Migration Agency and they advise you to put it in writing. When you send exact details, with examples of specific patients you are suspended, investigated and fired for disclosing private information relating to patients. This happened to Bernt Herlitz in 2017. When he appealed the unfair dismissal he ultimately lost and was fined about $50,000. He and his family faced financial hardship and almost lost their home, until some generous benefactors raised money for him. Bernt remains unemployed today, despite staff shortages for dentists in his area in Gotland. At the time, Sweden scoffed at the tests and claimed they were “discriminatory” but since then they have quietly brought in mass dental testing, for those whose age is in doubt, by the National Board of Forensic Medicine. Bernt deserves a medal. Not vilification and unemployment.

Pulitzer Prize-winning biographer Benjamin Moser says Israel is "actively fomenting" antisemitism by claiming to act in the name of all Jews: "It's asking a lot of people to say that there's this Jewish army of this Jewish state with this Jewish star on their flag, and they are mercilessly slaughtering tens of thousands of children, but don't confuse them with Jews," Moser said. He argues that the reported rise in antisemitism is simply a rise in anti-Zionism, "people reacting to Israel and the evil, wicked things that Israel has been doing in our names."

0.001% TAX A junior auditor at @PwC in Luxembourg is getting ready to leave his job. Before he goes he goes looking for some training documents to take with him. Instead he finds a folder that anyone in the company could open. No password. No warning. Just sitting there. Inside are hundreds of secret deals between the Luxembourg government and some of the biggest companies on the planet. Deals that let them pay next to nothing in tax. His name is Antoine Deltour. He copies 30,000 pages. That is the whole story. He copies a folder. Let me explain what was actually in it, because this is where it gets interesting. Between 2002 and 2010, PwC alone helped broker 548 of these secret tax agreements, known as tax rulings, for over 340 companies. Apple. Ikea. Pepsi. Disney. Deutsche Bank. AIG. Koch Industries. Skype. GlaxoSmithKline. Coach. Abbott Laboratories. Household names, every one of them. The trick was simple. Companies moved profits through Luxembourg shell structures and Luxembourg quietly agreed in writing to look the other way on tax. Some of these companies ended up paying an effective tax rate under 1 percent. In some cases as low as 0.001 percent. On billions of dollars. Who was running Luxembourg for almost 20 years while this machine was built and protected? Jean-Claude Juncker, Prime Minister of Luxembourg until 2013. Deltour did not leak straight to the world. In 2012 he passed the documents to French journalist Edouard Perrin, who used them for a TV documentary. PwC noticed and filed a complaint with the Luxembourg courts. Then in November 2014, ICIJ @ICIJorg pulled together over 80 journalists across more than 30 media outlets in 26 countries and published the full scale of it as LuxLeaks. The timing could not have been worse for Juncker, or depending how you look at it, could not have been better. He had just been elected President of the European Commission days before the story broke. The man who ran the tax haven for two decades was now running Europe. A month later ICIJ dropped LuxLeaks 2, showing the other Big 4 accounting firms Deloitte, EY and KPMG were running the exact same playbook. This was never one bad apple. It was standard practice. Juncker faced a no confidence vote in the European Parliament over it. He survived. Deltour was not so lucky. December 2014, Luxembourg charges him with theft, violation of trade secrecy and fraudulent access to a computer system. He is facing up to 5 years in prison and a fine of 1,250,000 euros. For opening an unlocked folder on his way out the door. April 2016, the criminal trial. Deltour and his colleague Raphael Halet, another former PwC employee who leaked a second batch of documents, are both convicted. Deltour gets 12 months suspended and a 1,500 euro fine. Perrin the journalist is acquitted. Deltour appeals. Loses. Appeals again. Finally in May 2018 the Luxembourg Court of Appeal fully recognises him as a genuine whistleblower under European Court of Human Rights standards and acquits him completely. Halet's fight took even longer. He lost his Luxembourg appeals and only won at the European Court of Human Rights Grand Chamber in 2023, nearly a decade after he first spoke up. The European Commission that Juncker went on to lead never opened a single formal investigation into a single LuxLeaks tax ruling. Not one. It did chase Starbucks, Fiat and Amazon over separate deals, but the mountain of paperwork Deltour handed over sat there untouched. So that is the LuxLeaks story. Build a tax avoidance machine for 20 years and get promoted to run the continent. Copy the evidence of it and spend most of a decade fighting to stay out of prison. @BBCNews · @ICIJorg · @Reuters · @lemondefr and others.

I have literally spent the last month trekking around Jordan interviewing elderly Nakba survivors and hearing their harrowing stories- and just completed a three hour video interview on Saturday night. No one I talked to left before multiple neighbours or family members had been shot and killed. Few of them had any weapons of any sort to protect themselves and if they did they were ancient Turkish muskets. Their opponents were armed with modern, newly-imported Czech rifles and many had been trained and drilled by the British. It became simply suicidal to remain, though many old people tried to so. The guy I interviewed on Saturday fled with his mother after their village was bombed. Their father remained and was loaded onto a truck to Gaza, at gunpoint, by the Haganah. Many of the family members that remained in Gaza have been killed in the last two years

In Britain your cat has a legal right to the diet her body was built for, and you have a leaflet telling you to eat the opposite of yours. The law says a cat must be given a suitable diet, and a suitable diet for a cat is meat, because she cannot make her own taurine and goes blind without it. The law says a zoo lion must be fed like a lion, so the keepers throw in whole carcasses with the bone and the hide still on. The law says a zoo gorilla must be fed like a gorilla, so when the biscuits made them fat the keepers took the biscuits away and gave them leaves. The law says a dog must be given a suitable diet, and an owner who fails it can be prosecuted. The farm vet balances a dairy cow's ration to the gram, because too much grain twists her stomach. The horse is kept on grass and hay, because one sack of oats too many cripples him. Every one of those animals is fed by the same rule, that a body should get what its species evolved to eat. Then there is you. Your official plate is a third starch, a third fruit and vegetables and a corner for meat, drawn by a committee, and the hospital, the school and the care home all serve it. No law says a human must be fed like a human. Every animal in Britain is protected from the wrong diet except the one who wrote the protection.

Elderly man asks African youth to stop lighting fireworks in front of his apartment in Antwerp. The Africans immediately attack him. What’s important to note is that to the left, the elderly man is the oppressor and the stronger in society, whereas the Africans are the weak and oppressed class that need special protection by the government. “Taking care of the vulnerable in our society” has become just another anti-white lie. The REAL weak: women, elderly, children, handicapped people, etc, are being thrown to the wolves.

COUNCILS HANDED HUNDREDS OF VULNERABLE CHILDREN TO ILLEGAL CHILDREN'S HOMES. NEARLY A THIRD WENT MISSING. OFSTED IDENTIFIED 710 UNREGISTERED HOMES YET BROUGHT JUST TWO PROSECUTION CASES. NOW OFSTED HAS PUBLICLY REVEALED ALLEGATIONS THAT ORGANISED CRIMINALS ARE FINANCING CHILDREN'S HOMES. Remember, these are children taken into care because the state is supposed to protect them. Instead, hundreds have been placed in illegal homes where nobody can guarantee their safety. And Ofsted has now publicly raised allegations that organised criminals are involved in financing the homes themselves. One company operated at least 19 unregistered homes. Its registered headquarters was owned by a convicted drug dealer with organised crime links. And who has ministerial responsibility for protecting children in care? Lucy 'Dog Whistle' Powell, the Education Secretary. Go ask her if a single word of what I share with you is untrue. My latest series sets out the changes I believe Parliament must make to safeguard children from the rape gangs. We start with the care homes. redwallandtherabble.co.uk/th… If opposition leaders in the Conservatives, Reform and Restore are really serious about stopping the gang rape of children, instead of making political capital from the screams of little girls, why are they remaining silent to organised gangs running our children's homes? They don't need to be in power to help stop this. They just have to care about children. _________ People ask me one question more than any other. Are children still being groomed, gang raped and sold across the United Kingdom? I take no joy in sharing with you that they are. And there are more men involved than there were before. Little White girls are still being gang raped and sold in this country. The men doing it are not only Pakistani. Other ethnic gangs have moved into our towns and cities, watched how the Pakistani gangs got away with it, and started their own rape gangs. It can be stopped. And over the course of this week I will detail a number of policies that would destroy the child rape trade in the United Kingdom. Unfortunately, eight years has taught me that not one political party will do what's necessary unless we force them. Which is why it is up to us to force them. I don't care if you are Labour, Conservative, Reform or Restore. I care that you want the gang rape of children to stop. If you are with me, then you are with me for this reason more than any other. My name is Raja Miah. I led the campaign that forced the national inquiry. Now I will share with you the key policies that any political party could campaign for that will destroy the rape gangs for good. You can decide for yourself why politicians need dragging kicking and screaming to a place that protects little girls from gang rape. Sign up to my newsletter here. 👉 redwallandtherabble.co.uk There are no paywalls to access any of my work. I share all my content for free.
