Excited to get this grant from NFR!!! It opens new chance to attract talents to work with us developing new miniature microscopes #Mini2P for studying exciting questions at @KISNeuro. Many thanks to my colleagues, my mentors and my lab members! Zong lab keeps moving!!
Congratulations to the brilliant @WikiZong for receiving a FRIPRO grant by @forskningsradet for the miniature microscope @TheMini2P that allows researchers to see 👀 cognitive functions emerge from thousands of collaborating neurons in the brain 🧠 of a freely behaving mouse!
Besides enjoying excellent science, our lab also spend our leisure time together having some fun! I am grateful and want to thank everyone for giving me a wonderful first year of Zong lab:)

Zong lab got an NTNU Discovery Grant for developing new 2P miniscopes! Thank the NTNU Discovery committee and Sparebank, the sponsor! The project is led by an amazing postdoc @Antonio_lorca_ and got strong support from Annelene Dahl @NTNUTTO! So encouraging for us!
Congratulations to Mikkel for finishing the first success craniotomy with 5mm large window! We have a magic surgeon in lab now!
