An important milestone -
First ever patient receiving a transferrin-AOC siRNA for a primarily myocardial disease (PRKAG2 - CORVENTIS).
Last year, AZ/Ionis dosed the first patient with a Bicycle-siRNA targeting a myocardial disease (PLN - PULSE).
These activities mark the start of a new generation of novel therapies in cardiomyopathies.

This is the crux of our problem in EP: we don't understand the pathophysiology of the condition. PVs get isolated because we can. @TobiasReichlin

🎯 In 214 Echo–CMR patients, 2 approaches anchored in LV remodeling, one requiring color Doppler, the other allowing any AR parameter, performed similarly to ASE algorithm with less quantitation needed.
