A very fun episode with @rosshofmeyr, looking at wilderness medicine, altitude sickness, HACE, HAPE, suspension syndrome, and more. A bit far from your local ICU, but plenty of lessons to learn from the slopes of Mount Scenario. icuscenarios.com/episode-25-… #medtwitter #FOAMcc #FOAMed

Definitely. I actually have a manuscript that I’ve worked on reviewing several devices in the wilderness environment. Have worked with multiple - UScan, VScan (and VScan Duo), Clarus, iViz etc.

Getting to know the @ButterflyNetInc #ButterflyIQ #ultrasound for some #POCUS clinical use in the anaesthesia environment this week. FATE and FAST scans, blocks, vascular access...it is quite impressive what this one probe can do. More thoughts to follow!
