Solid game 1 for 2028 OF @dillonlynchh as he smacks a ball the other way. Earlier he crushed a ball for an XBH. A talent to keep an eye on as he progresses. #SQZArmy @SQZBaseball
#Uncommitted 2028 OF Dylan Lynch with an impressive presence at the plate. Muscled pitches to each field. Repeatable mechanics with trusted lower half. Ball jumped off the bat with a lot more left in the tank. Ran a 6.65 60yard as well. #DiamondCoverage #SQZArmy @SQZBaseball

#Uncommitted 2028 SS/RHP Brooks Gilbert does a great job here of letting the ball get deep in the zone and staying thru the middle as he drives this ball into the RC gap for an RBI 2B @SQZBaseball Fall Tryouts. #SQZArmy #DiamondCoverage

Some nasty stuff to start the AM out of #Uncommitted 2027 LHP Leo Reina of @A3_Trojans Prospect as he ends the 1st with a K here. Up to 88 FB (more in there) while mixing in a 75-76 SL with 2650+ RPM and a 70-71 CB with 2700+ RPM. Loose, quick arm. @DiamondProMedia @aba_hq

Leo Reina (‘27,FL)⬇️
Sinks into legs during load, lower half stays engaged throughout swing. Barrel works free out front, shoots it up the box for an RBI 1B.

We want to give a huge thank you to former Tiger Ben Zobrist for taking time to speak to our team, take some cuts in BP, and spending time with us at practice today.
And yes… he can still swing it!
