Night 1 In Pompano Went Great 😩 The home pool filter top or skimmer top was not installed right - no screws holding it down. The plate says "must secure with screws included" Just straight negligence. Right leg went all the way in to the knee. On crutches, severely sprained ankle- no break. Lost a full thickness avulsion to my big toe requiring skin graft surgery if it doesnt heal Lost a 8x2" section of skin down my right leg, multiple abrasions, deep contusions to the ankle, foot, shin and calf. Its day 2 - lets go to the beach...oh wait - lets go walk the city..hmmmm Florida keys day tomorrow...nope Oh the game Sunday that will be a trip on crutches. Just sucks - but trivial in comparison to many peoples problems so I am still loving life and still going to smile and will laugh about it someday soon.
