Shooting a moon alignment video requires pretty precise location planning as you can't move your tripod once you start. I plan these shots using @Photopills.

A timelapse of the #moonset behind #SpaceNeedle in #Seattle. The moon was a day old in this phase(2.7% waxing crescent) and was barely visible until it got dark enough. It is much easier to shoot a crescent moon compared to a full moon as it is pretty impossible to over expose, and I think it is prettier too, especially when we can see the earth shine.
Tech Details:
- Fujifim GFX100S + GF 250mm f/4 lens + 1.4X TC
- 1/20 sec, f/5.6, ISO 1250. 3 second interval between shots.

- Processed in LRTimelapse & Adobe Premiere Pro

It was a gorgeous day for #CloudDrama in #Seattle yesterday. Here's about 4.5 hours (2:50PM to 7:20PM) of clouds and light over Seattle skyline, compressed to 45 seconds.

Yesterday's #Seattle #Sunrise #timelapse starting from 6:15am. Colors are usually the most intense red a few minutes after the nautical twilight starts, a good 45 minutes before sunrise and it gets more warmer colorful tones right before sunrise.
