Some inspiration for everyone. This is the solo that made me fall in love with Gary Moore. I had already been playing for a while, wasn't familiar with Gary, thought I'd heard it all, then one day I randomly came across this clip. I never heard anyone play with so much passion and emotion. I felt every note. The way he keeps building the solo with simple melodic ideas until the climax, its just perfect. For me this is the greatest solo ever! Cheers!

Rare pic of Steve Jones of the Sex Pistols playing my Les Paul Junior. This is from 1979 when members of the Sex pistols and Thin Lizzy were jamming together in a project called 'The Greedy Bastards'. Gary is on the left playing Greeny, and of course the legendary Phil Lynott on the right. Now you can understand why I had to have this guitar!

Jamming a solo from a Gary Moore song called Running from the Storm. This is off his final rock album before he switched over to the blues. For me this was his best sounding album of the 80's, recorded through a Marshall JCM 800. This solo was a bit of a challenge on Garys old 1955 Les Paul Jr, but this guitar just sounds so good I don't want to plaything else!
