Interesting. WB just blocked this Nightmare on Elm Street reboot concept on YT in the U.S. for showing 9 seconds of the 84 OG. But they no longer own the domestic rights to any of them. Craven estate owns & licensed to Paramount right? 🤷🏼‍♂️ So how is WB entitled to claim my whopping 35 U.S. dollars in revenue? Aren’t they already $111 Billion richer as of today? Anyway… It’s basically a franchise tribute trailer with a kick at the end where it turns out the sequels were Nancy’s dreams. So I’m gonna post here and tag some U.S. fans/mutuals I think might enjoy it.

Guess how many people in the replies who watched CARRIE said they enjoyed it? All of them. Guess how many of those people still said mean, contemptible shit about Josie & trans people?
Hello @grok Recently, I found out that Josie Totah who plays Tina in the new Carrie series & played Seymour O’Reilly in the 2017 film Spider-Man: Homecoming, is the same person and is transgender. Is that really true????

Seeing a lot of "but then why were you in The Exorcist: Believer?!" takes in response to this but... Ellen Burstyn famously only did that movie for one reason. She donated literally her entire (sizable) salary to set up a scholarship program for young actors at Pace University.
Ellen Burstyn expresses dismay over Mike Flanagan’s “The Exorcist” reboot coming next year. “Isn’t there enough already of the ‘Exorcist’ thing?” she exclaims. “It’s enough already.” Read the full Variety Awards Circuit story: variety.com/2026/film/news/e…

the funniest sales pitch is sometimes the one where the people selling the product have absolutely no idea what they’re selling. in snl’s “porn stars: manolo blahnik,” vanessa bayer, cecily strong and tina fey play former porn stars attempting to promote luxury shoes. they want the glamour of a high-end fashion commercial, but their mispronunciations and wildly inappropriate stories keep dragging the presentation somewhere else entirely. the brilliance is the contrast between the product’s prestige and the presenters’ complete inability to speak its language. manolo blahnik is supposed to signal sophistication and exclusivity. the women deliver “manuel blondicks,” while tina fey’s character somehow turns the brand into “manilow blankets.” the product remains luxurious. the people selling it make the entire performance gloriously unprofessional.
some sitcoms can turn the smallest family interaction into an emotional crisis. snl’s “beers” takes that formula and pushes it until the drama becomes ridiculous. when cousin c.j., played by larry david, visits mario and josh, played by kyle mooney and beck bennett, the sketch adopts the visual language of an earnest 1990s teen drama. every awkward exchange feels monumental. every pause seems to carry emotional weight. even the cutaway footage behaves as if we’re watching a life-changing television event. the joke isn’t simply that the characters are awkward. it’s that the show treats their awkwardness with the seriousness of a story about heartbreak, betrayal, or a family falling apart.

Finished #CrystalLake. You’re telling me neither the spunky reporter, her ex-undercover cop brother, nor the elder townies we see reading the daily newspaper - had any idea Pamela Voorhees was renowned chanteuse Pamela Scott who suffered a bloody miscarriage while performing her #1 hit live on the Tonight Show? That it took a passport photo in a top secret file to figure out the lunch lady wasn’t who she said she was?

Universal claiming the Exorcist Martyrs trailer they released 5 days ago appears in my video released 8 months ago… DURING PRODUCTION. Twice this week studios have blocked or removed my videos claiming to have “found” copyrighted content that isn’t there. Lionsgate retracted its takedown but not before the 3-day copyright strike flattened my reach and @youtube accused me of misusing the legal process. @TeamYouTube must do better protecting creators from studios who’re stealing from us by abusing the system.
