Jiri Fischer deserves all the credit, as Ken Daniels mentioned tonight…. for convincing Michael Postava to sign in Detroit Now the Red Wings may have the next great Czech goaltender Had offers from over 20 teams, including EDM, who he beat tonight in his starting debut #LGRW

We may have a real goalie folks #LGRW #Postava

If the NY Rangers want to save their season by acquiring John Gibson in late October, the price should absolutely start with a Prospect like LW Malcolm Spence (2nd Rd 2025 43rd OVR) or RD EJ Emery (1st Rd 2024 30th OVR) in return #LGRW #NYR

The Canucks tend to make every other team look great for significant stretches during games. So many little mistakes by both veterans and their kids. That should be a big concern for future development. They need a couple vets who play the game the right way #LGRW #Canucks

The NHL/NHL Media doesn’t like the politics of talking about why so many Americans, mostly married btw, don’t wanna play and live in Canada. It goes back to Covid and the government restrictions placed on their families. Especially in Quebec. #GoHabsGo #LGRW #Larkin

For those who doubted what I said about Jimmy D’s podcast comments. Look, I know there’s some who wish they really do kiss and makeup, but that’s just not happening. Good on Jimmy D for clarifying his comments, as the media would’ve hounded McLellan & Larkin all week #LGRW

Larkin leaks new list last night for 2 reasons. 1st, to put Ilitch/Devellano/Horcoff on public notice, he’s not changing his mind AND 2nd, pivoting away fr the Wild They’ve tried for 5 mths to push a deal to MIN and nothing. This looks like giving up on that idea #LGRW #MNWild

They played like absolute garbage all night, and somehow score 3 goals late to tie it? Crazy end to regulation.. BTW, Chandler Stephenson needs to be traded tomorrow by Seattle. What a stupid penalty to give Detroit a 6 on 4 to end regulation. Has a NMC though #LGRW

What are Minnesota fans going to do in a week from now, when Yurov is back to being Yurov? You know, like he was last week. #LGRW #mnwild

Big changes on the Larkin front this week. It’ll be the 1st road-trip where Larkin/team/coaches will be pestered/hounded by media in each new city, including several in Canada, pushing for trade demand/list answers. Not to mention fans at hotels/restaurants/etc #LGRW

This isn’t Detroit fans. This was a very logical discussion. Very different from that Minnesota deal being thrown around this week. A deal like this likely has Kirby Dach involved too, and maybe a mid prospect going back to MTL, as they’d have to get the money to work. #LGRW

Anton Johansson has solidified his spot and looks like he’s probably in the NHL for good. Well earned too. When Edvinsson returns, and Faulk is traded, they’re suddenly a very large, young, and Mobile D-Core w Seider, Edvinsson, Anton Johansson and Wallinder in the mix #LGRW

Don’t be surprised, if Kaiden Guhle is part of any Larkin trade, to see Justin Faulk or Ben Chiarot included w Larkin to MTL. For anyone thinking Chiarot is a no-go, remember his time in MTL recently, where he was used properly. Some of his best results by far #LGRW #GoHabsGo

One player who’s never even mentioned in Minnesota speculation, that will almost certainly be included in any Larkin trade, is Ryder Ritchie, who’s entering his sophomore season at Boston University. #LGRW #MNWild

lol at living in such a hockey dad/puck bunny fantasyland, you think Yurov hasn’t been gladly offered as a piece for Larkin since Day 1, and as if there’s ever been a passing thought by anyone in the NHL that Yurov is held in such high regard, there’d be a choice vs Quinn #LGRW

Pandering to fans isn’t going to help Christopher’s cause. He’s NOT a hockey elitist no matter how much he pretends to be with his Squirt B/High School Hockey resume. Not hiring a qualified person (not a baseball guy) to run hockey operations shows how inept he truly is. #LGRW

The best comparison, and it’s a hell of a compliment?? Brandsegg-Nygard reminds us a lot of Patric Hornqvist #LGRW

If that’s an unprotected Philadelphia 1st Round Pick, it gets juicy. #LGRW #letsGoflyers

The whispers have already started after only a handful of games Is it worth holding onto a trade demanding player, awaiting proper return, as he puts together a stretch of questionable efforts? You think fans are starting to question it? His teammates likely have as well #LGRW

The Flyers show no pushback at all. That’s when you basically have to fire a coach. Detroit was NOT good tonight either, yet you never felt Philly was gonna start making them pay for their mistakes, and they never did. Two bad teams. #LGRW #LetsGoFlyers
