Pat Murphy with high praise for Will Venable and Walker McKinven.
Murphy was Venable’s manager with the Padres for parts of 2015.
McKinven was on Murphy’s staff with the Brewers before coming to the White Sox.

🔵FUTURE RING OF HONOR🟠
Bronco Nation — Jonah Dalmas Belongs in the Future @BroncoSportsFB Ring of Honor!
@JonahDalmas35 was the most accurate and clutch kicker in Boise State history. He went from walk-on to the all-time leader in field goals and points scored!
He made a school-record 26 field goals in one season, hit long ones from 50+ yards, and finished with 93 career field goals. Jonah was a Lou Groza Award semifinalist and the face of Bronco special teams for five years.
He always came through when the team needed him most. It’s time to put Jonah Dalmas in the Ring of Honor!
Should Jonah get his permanent spot?
Drop a 🦵 if you agree! Tell us your favorite Dalmas kick in the comments and tag a fellow Bronco fan 👇

He grew up in a Giants family, in a Giants town, and learn from a decorated Giants manager. But Will Venable has found a home managing the Chicago White Sox, one of baseball’s best stories of the year.

High effort will take you a long ways in sports. Sox have been out working their opponents.
"We play other teams that on paper might have more talent than us, but we are competing with them and beating them because we play harder, we run harder, have more energy in the dugout." Great insight from my talk with Will Venable in my Newsletter today: mlb.com/whitesox/news/will-v…

Representation is not just negotiating bigger deals.
It’s also about helping athletes and families understand what they’re signing.
Contract language, payment structures, and termination clauses matter. Good agents have legal resources around them to help protect athletes.
Some schools are withholding final #NIL payments by invoking transfer portal clauses even after the athlete has fulfilled every obligation in the contract. That's a problem. Perhaps the deeper problem is that these contracts are not really NIL agreements.
