Fucking lol.
Cyclists are continuing to ride along the newly pedestrianised section of Oxford Street, despite being asked to dismount.
Around seven security staff have been stationed near Oxford Circus, calling out to cyclists to get off their bikes, with mixed success.

Car crash interview. £874 million to get about 4,000 people off the street.
That’s £190,000 each. Buy them a house.
Instead it’s contracts, outreach teams and councils deciding where the cash goes.
Rough sleeping rose under Burnham in Manchester. Now we’re nationalising the failure.

@AngelaRayner, did you allow Islamist extremists to influence the drafting of the “anti-Muslim hostility” definition?
It’s a simple yes-or-no question.
If not, why did your department claim that it had deleted all responses to the Working Group’s consultation, only to say — after the Free Speech Union threatened legal action — that the responses were still held on its data system?
And why does your department still refuse to disclose who responded to the consultation?
While we’re at it: if, as your Permanent Secretary confirmed in a letter to @NJ_Timothy, ministers had no involvement in this decision, who is running your department?
The public deserves to know the truth.
You fucking liar.

Why are you being so hostile, most of our surgeons, doctors, nurses, and caregivers are legal immigrants, we would be lost without them, they come here legally, they work and pay taxes. If those who rather live on benefits, instead of working, then the country wouldn’t need them.

His head is just a bag to keep his teeth in.
Had a lovely pint last week at The Fox Cub in Barrow upon Soar. No. 37 on my constituency pub tour.
As the nights draw in, there are few things better than a crisp pint in a warm pub.
But a pub isn’t just about pints. It’s about connecting with others - our friends, and our community. It’s a rare shared space in a world where we are more interconnected, but more isolated, than ever.
Across high income nations, we are spending more time alone and less time socialising. We all work more, we increasingly live by ourselves, we tend to move around more, and life is less affordable than it was.
Pubs, clubs, churches, groups have closed down as people couldn’t find the time, stopped paying for membership, and bought fewer pints. During austerity, nine pubs shut down each week. This has meant many of us have lost the connection, meaning, and identity that came with these spaces.
At the same time, our phones make it easier than ever to withdraw into our algorithmic social media feeds or find connection and meaning in spaces online.
Without places to connect, this means more loneliness and anger.
The identity that came with these shared spaces is replaced with something much darker. The grounding that spending time with other people, with different perspectives, provides is gone. I think we all know someone who has been rapidly radicalised on X and in Facebook groups.
We are increasingly Bowling Alone. In a more dangerous world, real connection and meaning are more important than ever. For our personal happiness and for our politics.
This is why it’s so important we protect pubs. With a 20% business rates cut starting next year, and by making life (and pints) more affordable.
I’m looking forward to pint no. 38. You should have one too.

You can’t even enforce tagging. You’re a joke.
Unchecked, anti-social behaviour blights our communities. But it is not inevitable and I won't accept it.
For too long, we have lacked the powers we need to deal with this problem properly. From today, that changes: authorities will be able to take tough action against these offenders.
This delivers on a commitment we made to the British people in our manifesto. And, most importantly, those who make life a misery for others will now face the consequences of their actions.

I don’t believe you. So Restore Britain has just sent in a lengthy FOI request demanding all internal and external communications specifically concerning the proposal, planning, approval, funding, organisation, content and promotion of the event.
Look forward to hearing back!
